ok seems like this debate will go and on.. I will rest my case cause otherwise I do have chances of loosing my job😆
Final thoughts - it is good to debate various aspects of Mahabharat Characters but it is also necessary for people to respect other viewpoints that may exist nothing to get offended with.. I have probably written this line so many times in this forum😆...
Anyways great discussion girls...
Take care.

Krishna is the perfected one. Hence he is worshipped as a god.
Also lord Vishnu is always little bit partial towards God (who favor good work) than Demon.

Comparing Krishna and Karn situation

Krishna mother Devaki didn't do anything wrong and Karn mother Kunti did a mistake.

Krishna find his guru very easily but Guru Drone was partial towards Arjun

Krishna was out of cast. Yadu is son of Kshatriya father and Brahman mother, hence suta, raised by vaisya/cowherd family but always treated as kshatriya because he was prince and next king of Mathura. In the case of Karn he is always suta putra. Brahmin did not take food daan from him.

Rukmani and other kshatriya princess marry Krishna who is out of cast but Draupadi reject Karn on the name of suta putra

The Difference between Krishna and Karna is the same between Devaki & Kunti.

Kunti did a mistake and abandoned him, devaki was helpless and had to that, Krishna's foster parents knew his identity but Karna's foster parent did not.

Krishna was not ridiculed and insulted by the Pandavas and never was he denied the knowledge of anything, While Karna was.

Kunti never came forward to accept Karna. Both are incomparable because their circumstances were different.

Well, I am talking of a situation where pandavas lost kingdom, wife was molested not by might of hands but sleight of hands. Then they are exiled and leaving in misery. This situation may make sakuni happy but karna is an honourable man, a warrior who believes in samurai code and lives by it.
Nothing to relish in it.. Karna is not ordinary person..

but he is ordinary at times like i said karna is not a hero neither he is written as a hero so if you expect him to be heroic all times you will be disappointed. He will do things make mistakes that will make you raise your eyebrows that is why he isnt perfect.Infact why only him other character's also do things that makes me raise my eyebrows.I dont like a lot of things karan did i don like alot of things other character's did as well

but i am not disappointed because i dont expect them to be heroic all times i know they will be wrong at times and karna more than any other character

i have always viewed karan as a human who did some heroic acts not some one who was always a hero like i said he did at times give into emotions like jelaosuy, revnege and betrayal and did do things that aren't nice no doubt in that

@ green: In fact, Karna got Kshatiya education alongside Arjuna and others from his boyhood. It was Krishna who had to wait longer because he was brought up as a cowherd.

@ blue: Circumstances were more or less the same.

@ pink : Krishna showed how one can become a God...

1)hmmm krishan ji was around 8 i think when he killed kansa after that he got his true identity in the kshatriya world(in accordance to his birth in the mortal world) lived with his true family in this world as yadav which karan never did till the end and even when he could it was too late and he refused

2)I am not talking about education i am talking about general respect like i said krishan ji was yadav and stayed like one and was respected like one karna was kshatriya and elder brother of panadavs he neither stayed like one nor was respected like one

3)not sure what to say in this krishan ji for me is a god hence this whole comparison is null and void.Yes he is superior personality to karan a superior being to karna due to his divinity hence he behaved very differently from karna not only becuase of his different circumstances but also because he was a superior being so not sure how we can compare karna and krishna

thanks for the citations --😊

i dont even know from what novel or version people brought the 'karna was reluctant" thing, yeah. I am sure there were claims that karna fought with shakuni over the lac house conspiracy because he was so damn not ok with it.🥱

obviously no citations are ever provided -- and the citations that are available are so far from any unhappiness and reluctance being shown!

Duryodhan always took advice from the other three -- they are always involved, instigating, hatching conspiracies or going with them.- -- but Karnas plans and involvement is conveniently over looked because hey, he didnt have any choice, he did it all for friendship and loyalty, not because he wanted to because he is selfless like that and wasnt fueled by his own motives.

ok my view on this is that krishna ji was neutral when it came to karna

krishna ji at many times praise karna in the epic and at many times condemn him

he went and offered karna kingdom when the time was right and also encouraged arjuna to kill him when it was required

i would like to believe krishna ji was genuine in all the times hence he was neutral.he condemned karna for his mistakes and praised him for his good qualities

it does not hold anything when said that Krishna infuriated Arjuna by his dialogues.

Krishna said those to that Arjuna would anger up. And secondly, the citation which was provided ine EDT does not say anything about Krisha breaking his vow for Bhishma, it only says that Krishna is paying respect to him by personally rushing to kill him. This can be further argued in EDT or D&D thread.

You are contradicting yourself mate, first you said that - Krishna's word is the ultimate thing, and now when his words were in Karna's court, 'contradiction' is seeming to occur from your side.

Well, in Kurekshetra - some highly powerful people never left his side did they?, they protected him from Karna at all times, first the Nagastra, secondly saving his chariot from exploding, thirdly - using illusive powers to prevent Karna from killing Arjuna.

Hello! There's no doubt that be broke his vow for Bhishma. This act had two accomplishments, that's different. Krishna broke his vow and rushed to kill him, breaking vow was only the medium to pay respect. Or else Krishna personally killed several demons, so does this mean he respected those demons more than Bhishma? 😕
And let me tell you, lord paid greater respects to him thereafter, to glorify him further.

Pardon me for going OTT!
