But Shikhadini's transition to Shikhandi was not handled well. Why are they making him/her exit the war so soon after killing Bhishma?

Will Shikhandi revert back to being Shikhandi? If they did, that would be the latest howler in the story so far.
Shikhandini went thru that transformation ages ago - probably b4 even the marriage of Draupadi. After her transformation, his marriage to the princess of King Hiranyavarma was recognized, and they even had at least 1 son - who was killed by Laxman in the war. Shikhandi himself was a combatant throughout the war - from 1-18, and was killed in the midnight massacre by Ashwatthama, while trying to protect Draupadi's sons, after they were killed.
Vrish & Ashwini_D, as per Wednesday's epi, the "transformation" will last for a period of 24 hours only...
After which, the "reversion" will take place, and as per Shikhandi's words,"Mujhe samaaj se antardhyaan hona padega" ("I will be isolated from society")
Now what is this "social marginalization / isolation" all about? I honestly don't understand.
As rightly pointed out, Shikhandi even had a family of his own after the transformation was proven. In other words, he actually became a full-fledged man after the transformation, and also participated for the ENTIRE length of the war.
But, in ⭐️B, Shikhandi is NOT a full-fledged man since the transformation is "temporary".
Heck, Draupadi even addressed him/her as "jiji" 🤔
Now, whether you look at it from the perspective of purely following the epic, or that ⭐️B is 21st century MB, making a transgender (who actually became a full-fledged man) undergo social marginalization (for whatever reason) only reflects upon the flawed mindset of the CVs, I suppose...
The worst part is that Shikhandi/ni being accepting of this "social marginalization" is being put forth as a "sacrifice" for the victory of the Pandava cause...🥱
I ask - how many such ⭐️"sacrifices" to go further?
First, Uttar's death (which, in reality, was an "actual" killing), and now Shikhandi/ni being accepting of "social isolation" (when it never really happened)...
I am now completely sick of this emotional drama associated with ⭐️Bhishma being taken down (no disrespect towards epic Bhishma). Can the CVs just get on with it?
Really, the ⭐️Pandavas are displaying way too much namby-pamby behaviour...no wonder they have only 2 akshauhinis left.
I now hope that the decisions to kill Drona & Karna are taken on the spot in the battlefield itself with minimal emotional drama. I'm not sure how much more emotional drama I can take...
Now, one thing I've observed is that important facts in ⭐️B get revealed a lot earlier than they should be, and that too, when they shouldn't be...
So, what are the odds that the Pandavas might somehow find out about Karna before he dies?
