I didn't know what to say. How do I explain to a eight year old that I was not able to digest the character assassination that has sunk to new levels when I assumed there were no new levels to sink to? I'm no expert in scriptures and puranaas. I'm a writer who fiddles with romantic fiction. But Krishna accusing Bheeshma!! I mean seriously??!! And in the precap he announces death sentence onto himself because he didn't speak up and protect Draupadi?? Did I hear it right??

Voice was weird really..I felt like laughing.
I truly hated that promo...he dropped his weapons and Shikhandi's arrow 'harmed' him. Ugh!

you know what's worse than that? shakuni attacking shikhandi in the precap.

I liked how they have the same actress playing Shikhandi, except for the voice, I think they did a good job. But Shikhadini's transition to Shikhandi was not handled well. What Yaksha vardaan were they talking about? I don't remember them showing any such thing (although it sort of follows from the epic). Why are they making him/her exit the war so soon after killing Bhishma?

I've held my comments about Shikhandini's gender transformation for how they show events after the fall of Bheeshma. Will Shikhandi revert back to being Shikhandi? If they did, that would be the latest howler in the story so far.

Shikhandini went thru that transformation ages ago - probably b4 even the marriage of Draupadi. After her transformation, his marriage to the princess of King Hiranyavarma was recognized, and they even had at least 1 son - who was killed by Laxman in the war. Shikhandi himself was a combatant throughout the war - from 1-18, and was killed in the midnight massacre by Ashwatthama, while trying to protect Draupadi's sons, after they were killed.
