yes that was one of the most irritating part of yesterday

you have done wrong all your life so please give up the weapons now.Arrey why?

besides yesterday krishna ji basically said that bheeshma had not taken a single decision in his life and pretty much everything he did was wrong so why will krishan ji send pandavs to learn how to run a state properly from bheeshma who himself has never taken a decision is whole life and has no idea what dharma is?

Patience dear Vrish. StarKrishna hasn't spared anyone when it comes to being a know-it-all and a bossy lecturer. He'll probably be giving Dushashana and Shakuni and Karna a bhaashan before they all die.
😆😆

yes we will get a time freeze before all kaurav warrior's deaths and they will learn true dharma from ⭐️krishna

this will be real fun in ⭐️shakuni's case

Do you still hope that StarGandolf will be selected to instruct them? 😆

I don't usually react emotionally to character distortions, but it pains me to see Bhishma being turned into a paper thin caricature.

Yep. I was watching BRC's MB the other day and I realized that while the dialogue itself was well written, the emotion behind Mukheshji's voice was the actual driving force. Yesterday (or was it Monday?), I watched some parts of the StarBharat yesterday and tried to imagine Mukeshji's voice and I realized that the dialogues would have sounded much better with that level of emotion behind it (instead of the roughness we see in StarBhishma's character)

(side note: Not comparing actors or their take on the dialogue, Mukesh's voice was stuck in my head and I just made that observation).

I can understand budget constraints in not showing Iravan, Shveta etc, but Satyaki, Bhurisravas and Kritavarma should have been shown, since the main reason of the starting the brawl which lead to the destruction of the Yadavas was related to these three people (if at all they show Mausala Parva).

I forget whether it was Karna or the Shalya Parva, but in one of them Dhrit asks Sanjaya to list out the number of soldiers, elephants. horses etc for both armies and the Kauravas were still numerically superior.

It can't be Shalya Parva. It has to be Karna Parva. After Karna's death, the Pandavas for the first time had a numerical superiority at the start of day 18, and each of the surviving Kaurava warriors - Karna's sons, Shalya, Duryodhan & surviving brothers, Susharma, Shakuni, Ulooka - all had at least 1 corresponding adversary. In fact, things became so bad that at one point, Sanjaya left Dhritarashtra and joined the battle. His fight was short lived as he was captured by Shakuni and about to be killed, but Vyasa had him released and ordered him to withdraw from the battle. Sanjaya then returned to giving Dhritarashtra the commentary.

Yesterday my kid said, "mom why are you watching this? You always watch and end up getting all angry. And you never explain what is going on. Why is everyone talking and not fighting."

I didn't know what to say. How do I explain to a eight year old that I was not able to digest the character assassination that has sunk to new levels when I assumed there were no new levels to sink to? I'm no expert in scriptures and puranaas. I'm a writer who fiddles with romantic fiction. But Krishna accusing Bheeshma!! I mean seriously??!! And in the precap he announces death sentence onto himself because he didn't speak up and protect Draupadi?? Did I hear it right??

By that parameter, everybody should announce death sentences for themselves...including the ones who have sworn to kill the chandal chaukdi...🤔

In the epic, Arjun himself lost his "manhood" during the incognito. Was he ever marginalized by society as a result of it?

So, what was Shikhandi really talking about - "Mujhe samaaj se antardhyaan hona padega..."?

I know why Shikhandini attempted suicide in the epic, but was epic Shikhandi ever marginalized by society AFTER the sex change and proving it as well?

I am truly surprised. This is 21st century MB - so why is a "transgender" (⭐️Shikhandi has undergone a one-day sex change) being subjected to social marginalization? Even the SC has given transgenders full rights now...

IF the CVs truly wanted to reflect a "forward-thinking" mindset in this show, shouldn't Shikhandini have undergone the "change" for the rest of her life, and been part of the rest of the war itself, rather than being subject to "marginalization" after Day 10 plainly on account of a one-day sex change?

For all its 21st century thinking, I really don't get ⭐️B and the way it works - polyandry is adharma, and transgenders being marginalized by society despite undergoing the "change" for "the greater good"...

Exactly! Everybody should surrender themselves to their demise now. Nobody in the dice hall was innocent at all...including the revenge seekers. Why so much difference? Will the creative factory bother to explain?

Regarding Shikhandi..god knows what's in their mind. Btw, I'm not getting the reason behind so much importance being given to this particular character whose existence hardly mattered except that on day 10. Here they made her Draupadi's greatest support, her Jeshth jiji..! It manages to grab an individual's attention when a minor character gets unneeded importance and the real important ones get sidelined! Now they are all set to show him getting marginalized by the society, hence contradicting their previous episodes.
