🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

seeing Uttar's sacrifice, it is simple to guess how much a sacrificial goat will Abhimanyu be.. 😕 He wont say 'am afraid I know just half' Yudi wont say 'dont worry we will follow'.. Abhi would have to literally push Yudi down to the ground and let himself go into the array..

Yes Vrish, he was.

Bold refers to Brahma and Shiva.

Also,

Rudra refers to the Rudra-ganas, I know, but since they are Amshas of Shiva, so..

Really, is this the same Bhishma who delivered the Vishnu Sahasranamam to Yudi in the Anushasana Parva?

- Nah! He's not even 0.0001% of what Bheeshm was. No VS in Starbharata...I bet!

3. And, in addition to this "sacrificial mode" of the Pandava warriors, you now have the Kauravas breaking rules of the war on Day 1 itself!!!Great!!Anything more to glorify the Pandava side??

- Anything further to defame the first Kaurava commander? Oh! I can sense something worse..🤢
His portrayal is getting more awful now.

GUYS I have one doubt
If yudhhisthir will flee away from battle field to HP crossing shamanthpanchak river then why would guru Dronacharya beleive in Vijay ke liye adharm karne wale Yuddhisthir's words????

Bhishma refusing to fight Abhimanyu? Is that from the epic? Could Bhishma refuse to fight certain warriors on filial grounds? It doesn't make any sense! Abhimanyu and the Upapandavas were old enough to participate in the war! So why would Bhishma refuse to fight Abhimanyu?

I get that Abhimanyu is a fierce and brave warrior, no need to shove it in my face with all those uncalled for somersaults. Who does cartwheels and somersaults in a battlefield while waging an attack? I can understand if the sudden movement helps in defending yourself but Abhimanyu's gymnastics looked quite OTT.

So, after having watched Day 1 of the ⭐️kshetra war, these are my views -

1. "Capture Yudi" plan hatched under Bhishma himself? Then why give the victory blessing to the Pandavas before the war?? 🤪

Really, is this the same Bhishma who delivered the Vishnu Sahasranamam to Yudi in the Anushasana Parva?

2. Will ALL deaths on the Pandava camp be "glorified" as sacrifices?

Uttar sacrificed himself for protecting Yudi??? So, even the credit of killing Uttar has been taken away from Shalya...
Honestly, I'll get sick of this "mahaan sacrificial" mode after a few days...
Will any of the Kaurava warriors kill in a fair manner or not?

And speaking of "sacrificial mode", in the show, what are the odds that Draupadi herself might volunteer to "sacrifice" her family on the 18th night so as to save the Pandavas from Ashwathama's impending massacre? As such, sakha has ALREADY informed sakhi about the outcome of the war...
Also, completely as per the show, she is the one who prevented the Pandavas from taking sanyaas by opting for polyandry, so this might be yet another opportunity for the CVs to show her in-depth mahaanta in much greater detail...

2. Yudi single-handedly battling multiple soldiers on Day 1, AND holding his own in a 3 v/s 1 gada yudh against DDS??? Like seriously, what was going on there??

If Yudi can fight so well with a gada, Bhim should easily defeat Duryodhan WITHOUT breaking the rules of gada yudh - oh wait, he has to fulfill his pran, so THAT might be given as the "excuse" to go below-the-belt...

3. And, in addition to this "sacrificial mode" of the Pandava warriors, you now have the Kauravas breaking rules of the war on Day 1 itself!!!
Great!! Anything more to glorify the Pandava side??

4. Yudi+army heading off to HP in the midst of the war for god-knows-what
So, the Kurukshetra war has extended beyond Kurukshetra now...again, completely proves the point that this is not the Kurukshetra war, but the ⭐️kshetra war 🤔

5. Why is nobody on the Pandava camp talking about Yudi facing a 3 v/s 1 gada yudh?? Completely as per what got shown, Day 1 belonged to the Kauravas because they broke rules of war, and one of the warriors of the Pandava camp had to sacrifice his life for protecting Yudi.
So, the use of Shikhandi by the Pandavas gets the full whitewash treatment now!!

I agree completely! Yudi holding his own against Duryodhan in Gada yuddh, who was supposed to be even more skilled than Bheem with the mace?

With respect to the blackwashing of the Kauravas, I must admit I didn't expect any better from Starbharat. Shakuni firing off orders to other warriors in the Kaurava camp? I thought Starbharat had made it quite clear that only a senapati's orders would be obeyed on the battlefield..not only do they contradict the epic, they also contradict themselves.

Aside from that, something else struck me: Shakuni urging Duryodhan to kill Yudisthir.

If one remembers, in the actual epic, when Drona became senapati and asked Duryodhan to ask for a reward, Duryodhan wanted Yudisthir captured. Drona specifically asked him why he didn't want Yudisthir killed, and Duryodhan told him that if they did, the Pandavas would never spare them. The idea was to capture Yudisthir, and then as a captive, Yudisthir would be forced to play a game of dice, lose again, and be exiled again.

If one thinks about it, what Duryodhan was asking for made perfect sense, from the Kaurava logic. Had Yudishtir been slain, who would have become the king of the Pandavas? Bhimasena. Unlike Yudisthir, Bhima would have pulled no punches, taken no prisoners, nothing: he would have ruthlessly gone for the kill, and maybe even asked Krishna to switch to becoming a combatant. Unlike Yudisthir, Bhima was as willing as Duryodhan to put aside any scruples if that put him at a disadvantage. Duryodhan knew all this, and knew that it was against his interests to make Bhima the king of his enemies

2. Will ALL deaths on the Pandava camp be "glorified" as sacrifices?

Uttar sacrificed himself for protecting Yudi??? So, even the credit of killing Uttar has been taken away from Shalya...

You actually mind Shalya being robbed of credit? 😆 On a more serious note, once Shalya joined the Kauravas, he very seriously supported them: even his disparaging of Karna happened when the latter was going into battle, not during any of his battles.

I think Uttar's fate was tragic: I'm glad that ⭐️B has given him extra coverage. Just pity poor, non-existent Sveta, though

Honestly, I'll get sick of this "mahaan sacrificial" mode after a few days...

Yeah. And
people are forgetting that most of the time, it wasn't direct Pandavas vs cousins, except when Bhima was slaughtering them: it was Pandavas vs other allies, such as Jayadrath, Sudakshina, Kritavarma, Ashwatthama, Bhagadatta, Vrishasena, Bhurishrava, et al. On the other side, it was Kauravas vs Drupada, Virata, Shikhandi, Dhrishtaketu, Sahadev of Magadha, Draupadi's sons, Kuntibhoj, and so on.

Also, Kurukshetra is near the Ganges Beach, where Uttar's cremation was done w/ full honors? It will be tougher to do funerals as the sides get depleted

3. And, in addition to this "sacrificial mode" of the Pandava warriors, you now have the Kauravas breaking rules of the war on Day 1 itself!!!

I always maintained that it's the Kuru⭐️tra war

In other words, Yudisthir can enter the capital and have Dhritarashtra assassinated Awesome!!!

Actually, Bheeshma did break rules on day 1 by using the Brahmastra against Sveta.

Disclaimer - My views are ENTIRELY regarding what got shown by SP MB as part of Day 1 of the Kurukshetra war, and should be completely treated as such.
I have no intention of disrespecting any of the characters from the epic (and I hope my views don't get misinterpreted).
Any complaints about my views should be directed to the show, not me 😆

P.S. - Day 1 of the war and its aftermath lasted for three-and-a-half episodes. If each day of the war is shown for the same length, then the war itself might go on till August...

Days 2-9 are inconsequential, and you may just as well witness a leap within the war 😆 I mean, no Satyaki, Bhurishravas, Satyaki's sons, Sankha (yuvraj of Virata), Iravana, Alambusha, Dhrishtaketu, et al

One more thing - on day 1, they showed Dhrishtadyumna as Drona's equal in battle. In reality, Dhrishtadyumna never won a battle against Drona, Ashwatthama or even Kripacharya: usually, he was saved from getting killed by either Satyaki, or on some occasions, by Bhima. At least in today's episode, Bhima pointed out that Dhrishtadyumna would need Arjun's support.

Dropping Kritavarma or Bhurishravas from the Kaurava side doesn't impact them as much as dropping Satyaki from the Pandava side does.
