I dont know about Abhimanyu and Draupadi's reliationship in KMG but in this serial, When Abhimanyu dies, Draupadi is going to weep more than Subhadra or Uttara. Why?,because she will think that he died because of her revenge.

1. I was reading kmg! while lac house conspiracy was being planned I came across a line which made me think whether actual ashwi supported dury always?

jatugriha parva section CXLIV
"Duryodhana answered, 'Bhishma hath no
excess of affection for either side, and will,
therefore, be neutral (in case of dispute).
The son of Drona (Aswatthaman) is on my
side. There is no doubt that where the son
is, there the father will be. Kripa, the son of
Saradwat, must be on the side on which
Drona and Aswatthaman are. He will never
abandon Drona and his sister's son
(Aswatthaman).

2. another thing whether drona was king of north panchala as the following passage suggest

Therefore is it, O Yajnasena, that I retain
half thy kingdom. Thou art the king of all
the territory lying on the southern side of
the Bhagirathi, while I become king of all
the territory on the north of that river.
And, O Panchala, if it pleaseth thee, know
me hence for thy friend.'

3.were many consiparacies done earlier too?


"Vaisampayana said, 'O chastiser of all foes,
listen to me, O monarch, as I recite the
(history of the) burning of the house of lac
and the escape of the Pandavas. The wicked
Duryodhana, beholding Bhimasena surpass
(everybody) in strength and Arjuna highly
accomplished in arms became pensive and
sad. Then Karna, the offspring of the Sun,
and Sakuni, the son of Suvala, endeavoured
by various means to compass the death of
the Pandavas. The Pandavas too
counteracted all those contrivances one
after another, and in obedience to the
counsels of Vidura, never spoke of them
afterwards.

yeah mb is so confusing! I started reading from the link u provided abt rangbhoomi! there dury really surprised me the way he spoke that he just wanted karna friendship! idk what to make of that statement! he met karna for first time and he started trusting him so much 😛
whatif karna was really someone who was not a real friend? I would not trust someone so easily

It is not there
Krishna never promised draupadi to Karna in
original epic
It is in burdwan Bengali edition where the
impurities added in epic are very anti draupadi
like the Suta putra comment
Burdwan Bengali edition states it is edited by set
of local brahamins under auspices of kapur
maharaj of burdwan state
It is a modern commentary
Kmg translates it in his version in Udyoga parva
But from drona parva onwards kmg starts
making fun on this biased edition
Kmg worked for 15 years
He got hold of Bombay edition later and started
using it later to correct his work
Bombay edition is what was basis for critical
edition
In drona parva of burdwan edition for example
many places we have three lines slokas where
Karna is concerned and extra line is some
random praise of Karna
Like sun son burning better than sunlight
This repeats many times so ganguly started
ignoring all Karna slokas in drona parva
In some cases those slokas were added in Geeta
press edition because good Poetry is good

some versions state that karna broke Abhi's bow from behind while others say he did it from front only. and that dancing and rejoicing around the corpse is also ambiguous.

the karna-lovers are going to get full throttle from karna-haters that time.


but the most imp of all distotrtions is the age of abhi darling. everyone thinks him tp\o be sweet sixteen but in reality he was more than 32-33 yrs old.
