i know for today's topic all will feel where did this come from but if just for people who were in a position to save draupadi and still they did not save her,had to face the consequences either trying to disrobe her or being witnesses then why yudhishthir did not receive any punishment for such a sin to gamble his wife just because he answered few questions during his last journey and was all goody goody mind you all goody goody and he went to heaven but what about the fact that he gambled her and still did not save her neither ordered other 4 to save her was his so called "dharma"so important to him that he just gambled his wife ?
he did nothing to save her honour at that time, neither did he kill anyone of those people at sabha ,on the contrary he put his wife in a position where anybody could do anything with her (it was just lord krishna's grace that she was saved) and on top of it after knowing about karna he cursed whole women gender? i mean where was he mahaan only not for cheating?
and after all these stuffs he went to heaven he was considered dharmaraj i mean come on he did not face any consequences of the sin he had committed
arjun died because he had attitude for his archery,
bheem-for attitude for strength ,
nakul-for attitude for looks,
sahdev-i don't know much but still maybe attitude for astrology i really don't know that
and draupadi- for attitude for her beauty and loving arjun more (as stated by yudhishthir) so does he mean that she should still love him after all what happened?(oh puhleeezz!)

well coming to my point i really want to know why did he go to heaven if anybody can explain please explain ...

Becuase that is the way of existense
May be Karma works in different than normal human logic can come up with.

Yudi always stuck to his dharma He was aware of every movement and every action of his. i.e why he is the Jaya It's his story in a way

Even I have the question nowadays in mind.. They even considered the half lie Yudhishtir told which resulted in Guru Drona's death.. and as a punishment ,he had to pass through hell before reaches heaven,, It irritates me that the writer didnt find Yudhi staking draupadi and being the reason for her insult as Adharm at all.. 😡

because he realizes his mistake and repents for it in the thirteen years of exile! he admits he was wrong and tries to get over his addiction to dice, learns the tricks of it so as to never fall prey to it again! he visits temples and saints and does tapasya!

prayaschit!!

I dont think he deserved heaven..Rest all of them fell on the way due to silly reasons.Droupathy for loving Arjun little bit more than others...For such a simple reason she wasnt able to reach heaven. But still the person who did bet on her,who caused her insult reached heaven...Wow!! After doing fatal mistakes, What is the point in regreting!!
I heard about the story of a Rishi who went to hell for telling the truth to a grup of theves which in turn caused the death of some innocent men.If that was the case ,Yudhishthir 's one lie caused the death of his Guru..He deserved hell for sure..

Actually, He paid for his Adharm during the exile, He did severe penance during the exile which resolved him of his adharm ( He even reliazed and regretted it ).

The minutes he spent in hell was for the lie he told to Drona about Aswasthamma's death.

Who are we humans to decide who deserved to go to heaven and did not? Yudhisthir spent 13 years repenting for his sin, and YES, repentance goes a long way in absolving oneself of sin. People remember Yudhisthir only for this dice game, but do they know of anything he did during the 13 year vanvaas? No one cares to read the whole epic and understand it objectively. No one can get past the vastra haran and try to understand what happened later on in the story. People blame Yudhisthir for betting his brothers and claim he is not a good brother. Well, the same Yudhisthir brought them back to life when they all died during the test Yama Dharmaraja gave Yudhisthir. By giving them life, Yudhisthir became equal to a father to them, but no one remembers Yudhisthir for this. Draupadi herself defends Yudhisthir and blames the vastra haran on Dhritarastra and his sons. When Draupadi, the woman who suffered most, does not blame her husbands for what happened, then who are we to point a finger towards them? The Pandavas were stripped of their weapons and rights. They became the slaves of the Kauravas, so how could they have helped Draupadi? Sure, they could have attempted it, but ultimately they did not have any power left. The Pandavas were not Gods. They did not have divine strength to fight with the Kauravas without their weapons. Unfortunately, they could not have done anything to protect Draupadi because they were physically vanquished. The only person who could have done anything was Bhima because of his physical strength, but even he would not have been able to take on all of them by himself.

The person who is most blameworthy in this situation is Dhritarastra. Being a King, it was his duty to protect the women in his Kingdom, and whether Draupadi was a queen or slave, she was a woman of his kingdom who deserved his protection, but he simply sat back enjoying everything like a sick pervert.
