he was already drugged by mamashree, hence why he added unnecessary terms to his PROMISE that he will never break even though he had broken and forgotten his VOWS to his father.

I wonder if the concept used will be like viskanyas (poison girls) except in this case drug kanyas and in the case of Bhishma, probably drugDhriti (that part where Dhriti grabbed Bhishma's arm was all that was needed to do the effects)

@ Sabhayata, watch them make poor Bhim get drugged to, so that they don't have to show the bloody and gory scene of Bhim ripping Dushi's arms and opening his chest to drink his blood...

Ok, watched yesterday and today together .. and I am furious!

People I'm angry at:

Star- (ie. all the following characters have the names "Star" attached to it.. for example "Star-Yuddhi"

Dhriti makes the promise that anyone who wants to go with Yuddhi can go ... that includes Kunti ... he can't stop her from going

Kunti just gives in ... uhh hello ... have you not read the Manu Samhita ... the women are first the responsibility of the father, then husband, then sons ...

Yuddhi and co... really guys ... you're just going to stand there are cry / look angry and not do ship.

Yuddhi (alone): really Yuddhi. The other day you were giving great comebacks ... oh I'll give you an easy one "The other day you didn't say anything to your son who offended the kuru kul-vadu ... how can I expect you to take care of our mom, another kuru kul-vadu" ...

Yuddhi (again): The blind guy took your mom as hostage and it was obviously intended as a hostage situation (which is why Dhriti brought it up when he was telling Yuddhi not to attack them). So why not show some brains and ask what Dhriti will give to keep Duryodhan out of Khandavprasth... You don't just give ... if you're doing a business deal (as this was), you give with one hand, but you take with another.

Yuddhi (again): Manu Samhita ... cmon use that noggin of yours!!!

Arjun: for all the talk in Varnavat ... you really forgot everything now ...

Bhim: All you did was look at Dury and shake your head... the old Bhim would have been furious... he would have said something.

Nak/Sah: Can't say much to you guys ... but crying was not the first thing you should have done ...

Draupadi: Can never be angry at you 🤪

Bhishma: Yeah I get you are now Dhriti's slave, but really ... you just stand up and say nothing

Vidura: As prime minister, you should have said something about the ridiculousness in Dhriti's propogation

Gandhari: You obviously are a mother and know the pains of a mother, why didn't you say anything

Karna: I can't say much to you, though you did feel something.

Shakuni: No. No. No. No. No... NO.

Dury: grrr

CVs -- if you wanted to show Kunti staying, you could have made Dhriti request her to stay under Khandavprasth is a suitable place to live... but once again you make the characters do stupid promises ... Kunti (like Bhishma) made a promise that wasn't even asked for!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry guys, just had to get all that boiled up anger out ... not intended towards the actors (marvelous acting), but more so the characters and the distortions that were oh too painful to watch. That's why I decided to post in this thread...

only thing is I was furious over a week ago, and I figured hey why should I ruin my mood and shanti by watching and thinking about this God-forsaken show! I personally feel my mental peace is more important than this show! 😡 Because watching this show makes me angry and sad at the same time!

yep, it's something like that for me too. I'm fine before watching it, while watching I build my rage, then after watching it, I cool down and go on with life... If only I can fix the "while watching" part...

Now it's not so much about distortion that frustrates me, but the stupidity (excuse my language, but I see no other way to describe) and thought the CVs put into each episode...

For example, keeping Kunti as "hostage" is going to do nothing... there are 5 pandavas skilled in warfare and they aren't exactly terrorists. Nak/Sak can go on a scouting mission, Arjun can use his archery to fire arrows at guards, Bhim and Yuddhi can grab Kunti and walk straight out as if no one was there...

And that was just a fictional example ... A realistic example is Bhishma himself has come between Hastinapur and Indraprasth... even if the Pandavas wanted to get Hastinapur, they would have to fight Bhishma which even Shakuni knew they would never do. Unless Dhriti doesn't have faith in Bhishma as a warrior/guardian (in which case why ask him to stay), there really isn't a fat load of ship that Kunti can do...

I'm not much of a physically violent person, but there is a whole new side of me, born from watching this MB, that just wants to go to SP's HQ and slap every single person involved in making the SP MB the SP MB (the background people)

Agreed with each and every written term. Not just distortions, but the episodes are filled with stupidity too. Sometimes I feel like laughing at their foolishness.

Even I'm not a violent person, but I'll assist you in your much needed 'Slap mission'.

wow I learned something new from Starbharat- that Kunti was kept hostage- I was wondering, are they showing the Italian or Russian Mafia instead of the Kuru Vansh; the mafia would do stuff like that!!! 😡
