even being his hard core fan I don't remember dates of his articles n u remember it :)) yups it was last year this time wen mahabharat had to go on air but it didn't as they wanted more bank episodes n already Shaheer declined 5-7 offers wid big banners so he was offered Chanchan so later he declined that too as he wanted to play Arjun only..so I'm quite happy with his decision n proud too 😊

Ya muje sare shows ki dates hamesha yaaad rahe jati hai 😃

I knew Navya was started from 4Th April,2011 then was shifted at 6.00 PM from 14Th February,2012 & was closed in 29 June , 2012

Mai to Mahabharat ka 1 saal se intazaar kar raha tha so sari dates yaad hai

I don't know Shaheer was offered role of Manav in Chanchan ???!!!

Oh great...It was crazy show

But i cant understand how any one can decline arjuna's role.I mean its such a powerful role written by the greatest writer in our history to turn it down for some ficitonal role is beyond me.

I dont get why actors are so apprehensive about playing mythological/historical roles especially powerful roles like arjuna such roles are opportunity of lifetime.Actors will keep on getting chances to play ficitonal roles but to play an epic's hero chance will only come once in a lifetime

In any case glad shaheer was sensible enought reject a fictional role for arjuna.Arjuna is too powerfull a charcter to be rejected and undoubetedly he is doing well as well.So no complains

RaQesh is a good actor, but I don't think he would have fit the role. He is too old to fit in with the rest of the younger actors who have been selected. That said with a different grouping he would have made an intense Arjuna. Am not a crazy fan of any actor, but he has come a long way from Saat Phere - where he frankly wasn't all that great. His role in Maryada was awesome and he is doing great as Asad in QH though he had another very popular actor's shoes to fill.

Coming to Shaheer - he took on the role around the time Navya ended. I remember the articles. Many had doubts about his ability to deliver, but he has improved a lot since Navya. Still needs a bit of work particularly on his vocal delivery, but on the whole he has made the role his own. Furthermore he is to be admired for staying committed to the role despite the wait when he had other opportunities post-Navya. Also, am glad he and Rohit are getting to work together again after Navya. They make a great wise older bro and more emotional dashing younger bro pair.

I consider this their respective destiny... two actors (RaQesh n Shaheer) doing roles best suited to both.
