And I guess you are confusing two things .. Karna was proud of his RADHEYA name in fact he chose Radheya existance over Kounteya .. but Draupadi's tone itslef was insulting .. he rejected because he belonged to a lower caste and she did it when Karna was invited in Swamvar .. it was like 1st invite in swamvar and then humiliate him in name of caste-ism .. Karna never said he wanna be a Kshatriya he said he want the right of normal human being, acceptance of his talent and don't humiliate him dragging his caste. rejection for his CASTE is naturally an insult that too inviting him in open ceremony

u said the insult was equal to a woman's molestation... so if karn was with no flaws he shud've had the senses on not committing a crime in the first place!!!

coming to sastra, it considers woman as the prime force of all...
it is said whoever she might me... whatever she might be...
she is to be respected always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am not in mood of fighting but when did you find Karna complaining? and was pandavas got rejected from any chance or lesson for their caste? yes they suffered a lot in their lives but they were together could give life for each other , karna may had wealth but he was alone ,
and even i don't consider Krishna god when i judge mb but he had incomparable qualities with him which no oher character in mb had

We have now reviewed all of the posts and has come to the decision of keeping this thread closed. There are few issues we would like to address and clarify for everyone here:

- The title was misleading the members and fans because any topic or title targeting the fans or members will NOT be allowed. The topic maker has presented her /his perspective about the character Karna which was within the rules but entire topic was directed toward one particular fan group/members.

- We do not dedicate any anti appreciation thread against any characters whether its Karna or Arjun or Draupadi, members can analyze/discuss the characters in the respective ATs or create topic about any specific scene they want to criticize.

-Religions and beliefs, in itself is one of the controversial discussion topics and its very sensitive because the feelings run deep so we should respect the sentiments and feelings even if the members do not share the same belief! The criticism/discussion should revolve around pointing out the pros and conos of the characters in a constructive manner without restoring to bashing! In this thread itself, a few of the pages, had contents of personal attacks and insults because of differences in opinions. Such differences of opinions should not go to the extent of hurting the sentiments/insult of our fellow members! Please note that such acts will NOT be tolerated here. Each and every one are entitled to have their own point of view/arguments and like I said above, try to discuss with valid evidence/source; if you can't, simply avoid the discussion rather than aggravating the issues.

Last but not the least, we are in the modern era, and many things have changed since the old times. What happened during the earlier era's cannot be compared to the modern era, simply because things functioned completely differently! We simply cannot judge the happenings of the past based on the current moral values so please keep that in mind when you discuss/argue!
