the word 'shayad' is of persian or farsi or urdu word..not sure which of these three languages it belongs to..but not originally a hindi word for sure

karna would typically speak the same language as the pandavas and kauravas. being from the same region. he has to learn bengali to speak it. like civil services officers of this age. because he got "posted" in that region. krishna would speak brijbhasha naturally may have had to learn to speak gujarati. to commnunicate with the people there. would still come back speak the same brijbhasha language to communicate with pandavas.

as for bloopers. when gandhari was pregnant and the baby was not yet born. the sasu maa comes angrily and asks the maids "gandhari ko prasav hua? jawab do ( " she said jawab. should she not have said "uttar" do ?

that way if shakuni mama is going to speak "pashtun"( which I don't think he did ) then all these persian words are not considered bloopers. because these words may have been in the everyday language even then.

if everybody spoke their own language it would be hilarious like the tower of babel.
may be just may be they spoke a common language like we speak hindi now to communicate between people from different regions even if that is not their mother tongur.

hanumanji speaking kannada well that is a thought. though I don't think he did. may be he spoke some other language. still the thought is hilarious. and I enjoyed reading the different language conversations. laughed my head off. never enjoyed anything so much as this thread.

The word bachha originates from the sanskrit word batysa/vatsya meaning son. Bachhe is still tatvab, word originating from sanskrit and can be pardoned.

Real deal is using abaric, persian words, because that language influence comes wayyy pater.

And no, bengali, vrijvasa, gujju those languages originate much later, during 7th or 8th century ad.

First it eas sanskrit, then prakrit, then pali( pali ruled around lord budhha time and a few hundrednyra after that). Then it got btoken into sourseni and maghdi apvransh. All modern north indian languages originate from there.

There maybe diff dialects but during the time mb was composed, the language should be sanskrit.

South Indian languages had original dravidian languages, that prevailed during indus valley civilised, thta mixed with sanskrit later. So those coming from that region like uloopi and aravan should speak a little different language.

Dharam is sanskrit, although later age.

Dharam, karam, such words were used as alternative to those who could not easily pronounce r without an a or aa.

Uowever Karan is a later development. Its tatvab not tatsam. So right pronunciation is Karn or karna

Then it suddenly disappeared. 😆😆
While entering also, I think he was not wearing it, and then he was wearing it and again, not wearing it. Inconsistencies while shooting. 😛😆😆

1st may episode

when subadhra was talking to arjun about meeting krishna at the earliest arjun's shawal colour was purple..

in the next scene itself when arjun goes to meet krishna the shawl changes it purple colour and becomes white.. 😆

that was his unofficial dress(like we wear comfortable cloths in informal getup) then he qent for getting ready and changed to his formals and went to meet krishna! btw krishna boss to the ni ki usi kapde me ata to bhaga dete ki jao change karke aao! itna time ready hone me waste kiya 😛

sorry to disagree. but when arjun meets krishna and balram in the gada fight episode he was wearing the violet shawl. as you are stating if that was an informal dress then he shud have been in formal wear when he goes to meet balaram and krishna for the first time after the agyatvaas. 🤔 and why did he have to wear formal dress at the first place? he was aked to meet kirshna at the earliest. do you think arjun would waste his time thinking about formal and informal wear??😆
