Why does Arjuna get Geeta gyan from Krishna and not Yudi? Am curious to know why people think this is so? Yudi is Dharma ka prateek so shouldn't he be the one through whom the world received this knowledge?

Arjun was a warrior and it was his duty to fight...it wasn't a new affair for him. After seeing his loved ones like Bheeshma and Drona as his opponents, he became weak and several questions rose in his mind. He was unable to understand why he's fighting with his own relatives, For a piece of land?
He got confused and this caused deviations to his warrior nature. Arjun needed answers to the questions and so Gita was delivered to him.

Gita wasn't delivered to others because they didn't need it. They had decided their particular stand already.

Arjun was Warrior but the moment of War...he got confuse with his feelings his want his wish...just cause of Land he is going to fight with his own relative ...is it good...he seen his own ones standing infront of him n may be he will kill them that make him confuse y he is going to fight what is the object... a mere land or something...
like this all of us went confuse with time...
Arjuna is Nar...n Arjuna is our replica there...we also got confuse with time y we r doing this ,what is the object...we turn confuse...
n being Narayan ...Sakha of Paarth...Paarthsarathi erase the confusion n make him look the more broad side of the war...
give him the Gyan of GITA ,Karmayog n through Arjuna whole world came to know...
May be Krishna can choose anyone...but not other was with Krishna that tme n neither anyone else got confuse about war...

Arjun confuse about his real duty which Krishna Clear through Gita...

i wonder if this will make any sense to you but all the other famous warriors that we could name were too tied up in the principles and morals of the human world ... No one was ready to rise above it, all of them were great people and warriors but there was always something stopping them from seeing the bigger picture, the biggest picture ... it was their Masculine ego, the ego of a man that stops him from completely submitting himself to the supreme lord and that would be Krishna here, we take it as we are talking about him giving his knowledge to Arjuna.
I have always wondered that there were people like Bheeshma , Yudhishtira, Karna, Vidura who have been fit enough in the technical sense to have Krishna depart his knowledge to them.

Arjuna had many things that were missing in his personality if you compare him to these people. He was highly impulsive and has done some idiotic things and took some even more stupid vows that could have killed him.

Compared to these people, there were so many aspects of a great person that was missing from him. I think it was also about his humanity. He was in more touch with his human side, was closer to it than these people. While Vidura was the reincarnation of Dharma, and Yudhistira was the Dharmaraja himself.

Bheeshma and Karna were more in touch with their higher self. Karna is known for his generosity, his kindness and Charity while Bheeshma didnt made that many vows, but the once he made, he followed like the true breath of his life, the reason for his living.

Arjuna represents you and me. People like yudhishtira dont. putting their powers and skills aside, today you will not find a person whose personality is like that of Yudhishtira ... no one today has total control on his mind and heart.

Arjuna, being more human than any of these people, is greater than all of us humans of this kali age because unlike the other men of that time, his brothers, friends, relatives, enemies ... he really had given up the masculine ego and completely submitted himself to Krishna.Isnt this what we and even the people of that age were supposed to do but couldnt ... hence, neither them nor we cant attain the enlightenment that Arjuna did while we are still in our physical body.

No Dharma, No Duty, No relation, nothing was put higher than Krishna and His words, in Arjunas case.

It was about Arjuna faithfully following Krishna and always accepting every advice without even a pinch of doubt in his mind.

Do you remember the Epi where Karna told Yudhishtira that from then his "Dharma" will be to do whatever Duryodhan says.

Arjuna did the same thing but his loyalty lied at the feet of Krishna. Krishnas words were Dharma to him. No dharma, rule or duty assigned to different cast and different levels of the society was bigger than the Dharma to do whatever Krishna says.

And all the others, anyone you can name could not see past all.
