Koolsadhu,

Adhirath was quite loyal to Dhritarashtra. He introduced Sanjaya when he retired from service. Whether they moved with Karna to Anga is not known; Karna himself remained in Hastinapur most of the time- but no way Adhirath would have called Dhirt / Dury as 'adharmi'

If you ask me, Kunti herself is getting too much screen space. Neither as a character, nor as an actor does she deserve so much screen space.

Exactly ! Why would Adirath bash his king and his son when they were his lord and masters ? No mention of him is there that he went but it is safe to assume he did coz

this was the decision of his masters ! A boon from them ! And Duryodhan has just returned from gurukul where has he had time to impress Adirath that he has become a paapi ? Why would Adirath NOT go with Karna proudly ? What an honour to be a king's father from a charioteer ! In that era , the servants were loyal to the salt they ate , why in the world would Adirath think otherwise ?

And why was Radha shown as crying like a death occured in the family when her son 's fate changed ?

What I perceive is Adhirath being Charioteer to Bhishma, has got some idea about how bad Dury's company would be for Karna. 😊

Newest distortion tomorrow - Subhadra in Hastinapur, & being introduced by Dushshala. 🤬

Subhadra does a dance, and Duryodhan tosses his jewelry @ her, like she's an adult entertainer. Karna makes a remark about her, and a furious Arjun draws his dagger and charges @ him. 😡

No citations for now, but for anybody who doesn't know, Subhadra doesn't surface in the story until pretty late. The Pandavas have gone through the house of lac, killed Hidimba & Bakasura, married Hidimbi & Draupadi, made Indraprastha out of Khandavprastha, seen Arjun exiled for 12 months (or longer), had Arjun marry Uloopi & Chitrangada, and finally, he ends up in Dwarka, where he meets Subhadra, and abducts & marries her.

No way did Arjun meet Subhadra this early, and there is nothing in the MB to suggest that either Duryodhan or Karna even met, much less insulted Subhadra.

Also, how is Subhadra there, and there is no evidence of Krishna being there as well?

Actually it's Arjun who plays the veena, which provokes Duryodhan and Karna into insulting him, saying he should also dance to entertain women.Subhadra is just a part of the audience.

But yeah the whole thing is made up. The next logical track should be Drona asking for his guru dakshina, with the entry of Drupad.

Actually, the MB is silent on whose charioteer Adiratha was. So BRC showed him as being Dhritarashtra's charioteer, which is where the above account is from, while this serial shows him as being first Pandu's, and then Bheeshma's charioteer. So at least this aspect of Adhiratha, as shown in the serial, is not wrong.

I don't care how much space they choose to give Kunti, but she didn't bother about Karna until just b4 the war, when she realized that the only real threat to her sons came from him. Which was the whole foundation of his grievance against her. Had Kunti actually done the things she's depicted as doing here, Karna would certainly have been far less hostile to the Pandavas than he was, and certainly far less hostile than what they are showing here

Seriously? Arjuna playing the veena ? Surely the CVs have gone mad.

Arjuna learns music and dance only when he is in Indralok- from Gandharva Chitrasen.

There's no way he would have known anything about music at this stage.

Dronacharya ran a military academy- not an CBSE school

I am done with this show. The story has completely lost track. Where's the scene of Drona asking for guru dakshina?

Sudhadra already in the scene! Even before draupadi, before the laksha grih...! 🤢

Long back I had vowed not to see any new versions of Ramayan and Mahabharat. Janaki was asking me to watch AS Ramayan,.but I couldn't bring myself to it. The reason is precisely this - they distort the story, dramatise it,.take the story off track by adding their own fan fiction to it. 🤢

I know what I am going to do. sit and watch B R Mahabharat once again on YouTube and try and forget this soapish drama. (please don't start off pointing the mistakes in that one now...it was enjoyable nevertheless)
