Not Bhima. Like I pointed out, he lost to Bhima every time. At best, his battle w/ Bhima on day 14 was a stalemate. Only the serials bent on glorifying him show him defeating Bhima

When Karna took aim with the Nagastra, Takshak came out of the astra and asked Karna to take a lower aim. But Karna refused saying a true warrior doesn't change his aim.

that was what i meant dear . He had the full opportunity , he CHOSE not to . Also if Arjun had no danger from him and full guarantee of winning there was no need to

shoot him when he was out

blackmail him on the eve of war and try and try to get him to defect

take promises from HIM that the legitimate sons would be spared[ Kunti..no promises were taken from the legitimate sons]

his kavach kundalas were taken away strategically

sacrficing Ghatotkacha ...Bheema's sn was sacrificed to protect Bheema's brother

Promise was taken from Shalya by Yudhishtir to demoralize Karna with taunts while charioting him ...infact the wrong aim of the Nagastra is due to these taunts where he got tired and bugged

these things were done . Fact . He was killed when defenceless . Fact . I am not taliking of the justification of it as he did same with Abhimanyu ...i have other views on the Abhimanyu episode , i am merely telling of facts .

As i see it , Arjun was protected from him and if Arjun could easily defeat him each time , going to these lengths was unnecesary . But these lengths were exercised .

As far as Bheem is concerned , to my knowledge , he and Karna had a tough fight and he knocked Karna unconscious but Karna bounced back and killed his charioteer and if i am not mistaken deprived him of his chariot . I may be wrong here as my memory fails me now as i read it quite some time ago , but Karna cut his bow too and the Kauravas meanwhile rushed to his aid ...but that happened in a war .Arjun has rushed to Nakul's aid in the Vrishasen fight and many many times .

Bheem was a good archer too , not many know that . I agree that this Mahabharat has overshadowed him by promoting Arjun as the maha nayak . He was as powerful as or even slightly more than Arjun in war .

After the killing of Karna , Shalya has rebuked Arjun ...and it must be noticed that Shalya was no friend of Karna . Infact Shalya has refused to get down and take the wheel out of the mud , and he thought it was beneath him to chariot a Suta . He did it coz Duryodhan almost cried .

I believe as i read that there definetely was strong danger to Arjun from Karna . All the dangers to Arjun were eliminated ...Eklavya , Karna etc and a good deal of manipulation was often used to ensure his victories or superiority in archery .

But i have an opinion that Arjun was a good , mighty archer and absolutely fit for self realisation . Same way i think that Karna was indeed a formidable foe and gave them a tough fight .

Enjoying all MB threads. Thanks for opening.

Yes they are corrupting the story like anything. But still they win by managing to tie us to our seats. Which proves we are so addicted to emotions 😆.

Young Bhim's atma shanti feast etc I think dint happen at all. Hastinapur forces were for sure not so weak to conclude this without proper evidences. Also I remember reading in many places that Kunti got a promise to Bhim that he will not tell anyone that Dury poisoned him. Here whole world knows this.

And ofcourse the funny competition between warriors with different weapons, Karna's participation and many fakes

What is this 'CV' that you all say repeatedly 😕

When Draupadi marries, I'd like Kunti to swap Priyamvada for one of Draupadi's maids w/ Draupadi. Maybe the 'Sairandhree' that Draupadi in her disguise told Maharani Sudeshna about.

Who is this Priyamvada and WHY is she getting so much screen space ...Kunti returned to Hastinapur from the forest had she taken her maika daasi there ?

And Kunti was rushing to tell Karna all the time ? When ? There is a limit to whitewash her character . She remained quiet till the very end and got cursed by her own son coz if she had spoken up the Mahabharat wouldn't have occured this way .

Kunti has told AFTER Krishna has revealed the truth to Karna .

That non existent character Priyamvada gets more screen space than other characters .

And Adirath is keeping that small house as a house of dharma for Karna to return coz his big palace is paapi ? Huh ? Why is it paapi ? He was made King on his own merit ! Coz he impressed someone from the royals ! What nonsense r they showing ?
