Only case I can think of - when Arjun returned from exile, she was miffed @ him for marrying 3 wives while away from her, which is why Subhadra had to put on that milkmaid act. She is not known to have reacted negatively towards Yudisthir marrying Devika, Bhima Valandhara, Nakula Karenamati or Sahadev Jarasandha's daughter or Vijaya.

Yudi's accusation is his Pov. There is nothing to substantiate his accusation that Draupadi was indeed partial to Arjuna.

Draupadi slipped on the treacherous Himalayan slopes and fell into a deep gorge and hence died.

Like George Mallory. Simple.

So many mountaineers lose their lives while trying to climb mount everest. Not all of them are unfaithful to their spouses.😆

As for hell, even Yudi had to endure a few moments in hell...

Haha, you're right, while replying to your post I thought, that by that logic she should have come out of the fire sans any clothes on, as we did not see Drupad throw any clothes into the fire. But that would have been blasphemy in India 😲 and objectionable considering it is a prime time TV show 😛

While Draupadi was the center of Bhima's attention since the game of dice, I think that he too preferred his 3rd wife - Valandhara. In fact, it was he who sought her out - he approached her father, the ruler of Kashi, entertained him w/ his wrestling and offered his strength in his services in return for his daughter. So Valandhara married Bhima, and they had a son Sarvaga.

Of course, that may have just been the case for the 36 years that Yudisthir ruled Indraprastha, b4 the game of dice separated them until the war.

In a five year cycle the Pandavas would have spent 4 years with their individual wives and a year with Draupadi. It might be a bit natural to prefer their individual wife over Draupadi, the converse might also work though😊.

Some scholars feel that Draupadi never allowed the other wives bar Subhadra to stay in Indraprasta. It seems a bit far fetched though. More likely is that the year in which for e.g it was Bheema's turn with Draupadi he would probably have sent Valandhara away to Kashi.

The incident that caused Arjun to go into exile for 12 months/years happened when Draupadi was spending her time w/ Yudisthir. Following that event, Arjun left, and Draupadi would have had a year to serve him.

The MB reading is somewhat nebulous, as I once pointed out in the thread 'Pandava Parivar' that we had in DBSK, later moved to MM. There, one can either read Abhimanyu as being the first son, or one can read those 2 statements independently. Chances are that in the first year that Arjun was in exile, Draupadi was pregnant w/ Prativindya, while Bhima probably spent the time getting Valandhara to marry him, since Hidimbi wasn't allowed to live in Indraprastha, being a rakshashi.

Arjun's exile may have been at least 12 months, but may not have had a strict requirement that he return on the 366th day. So, while his stay w/ Uloopi was a 1 night stand, he probably stayed w/ Chitrangada long enough to see Babruvahana born & do his namkaran ceremony b4 leaving. In the meantime, Bhima would have married Valandhara & returned to Indraprastha.

Following Prativindya's birth, it would have been Bhima's turn w/ Draupadi, so the 2nd year could have been one where their son Satsoma was born. In the meantime, Yudisthir would have turned to Devika, while Valandhara wouldn't have gotten Bhima until Satsoma was born.

Following that, Draupadi would have had to wait for Arjun, but I'm sure Prativindya & Satsoma kept her busy w/ childrearing. Then Arjun returned w/ Subhadra, and in Arjun's case, it's likely that he had Abhimanyu first, and then Shrutakarman/Shrutakirti (Vaisampayana uses different names in different places).

For all this time, poor Nakul & Sahadev would have had to wait, since the deaths of Jarasandha & Sishupala happened well after that. Therefore, they neither got Draupadi, nor did they have other wives to serve them. They probably might have just kept busy babysitting Prativindya & Satsoma 😆

^^^^ Arjuna spent at least 4 years in exile / pilgrimage. Because after Babruvahana was born, Arjuna went south, met some rishis.
After three years, Arjuna went back to Manipur and it was now that he ceremonially handed over Babruvahana to Chitravahana.

After this Arjuna went westwards towards Dwaraka.

Remember Shivang had pointed this out to us?

So it is just possible that Draupadi had her kids with Nakula and Sahadev before Arjuna returned from his "pilgrimage".

Even if it was 4 years, year 1, Draupadi could have had Prativindya, and year 3, Satsoma. I doubt that Nakula or Sahadev would have gotten in line ahead of Arjun.

Yudisthir would probably have married Devika at the time Draupadi was pregnant w/ Satsoma, and had their son later.

I'm guessing some time must have elapsed b/w the Rajasuya yagna and the game of dice - enough for Nakula & Sahadev to have their sons from the princesses of Chedi & Magadha. Or would those 2 have been born in exile?
