What is more horrible is more than being portrayed lavishly he is being portrayed FALSELY . He is WORSHIPPED . CVs have no right to put in small disclaimers and ATTIRIBUTE miracles to him out of their own sub standard imagination to make money . Chappals should be thrown at them . Only Shyam Benegal's portrayal of Krishna in Bharat Ek Khoj was super realistic although it was only for 2 or 3 episodes . Nothing since then has even come close to it .

In Thursday's episode, when Krishna met Rukmi, the latter didn't recognize him. But in the original story - yeah, I know this serial ain't close 😈 - Rukmi was one of the staunch allies of Jarasandha and fought on his side against Krishna in their most recent wars. So he'd definitely have known what Krishna looks like.

Another thing - had Arjun assisted Krishna in the abduction of Rukmini, Rukmi wouldn't have picked his side to join in the MB war - he'd have picked Duryodhan. Just as did Vinda/Anuvinda, the rulers of Avanti who were in a similar situation to Rukmi - their sister Mitravindya too was abducted, and in this case, Arjun may well have supported Krishna here. So those 2 brothers, in addition to Krishna, threw Arjun into their enemies list & joined the Kauravas.
