same with Star Vijay.. But what else? tumi and apni are not mandate for addressing his younger sister right? though a queen?
Oh so this airs on Star Vijay too, does it? So what is the same in Star Vijay- Subhadra calling Arjuna "Nee" or Shakuni calling Gandhari "Nee" ?The former is indigestible, the latter though acceptable.
Everything else you've written is fine, except for BRC - they too took unbelievable liberties w/ the story. Don't allow the fact that this serial is complete fiction make you accept that BRC was good - it wasn't. It was too bhashan heavy from everyone - Bheeshma, Vidura, Gandhari, Krishna, Yudisthir, right down to the miner who dug the escape route from the house of lac. Also, the episode of the Gandharvas was distorted, and they didn't have daily funerals like was shown. But seriously, I thought I had broken all records w/ my KMMK, but these guys are giving me tough competition 😡 Looks like I should take another stab @ the epic 😈
I just noticed that many of the regulars posting in the episode discussion thread have stopped doing so or have taken a break from posting. Or maybe I'm wrong 😃. But I seriously feel that the makers of the show are finding it hard to do justice to the non-linear narrative of the epic. And the surprising part is the sub-plots have not even started. They are busy fleshing out imaginary incidents.
I know nobody will agree with me on this, but I find Krishna's portrayal a bit over the top. What's with the constant lecturing? I always used to skip his monologues previously. But instead of behind the scenes, he is now preaching to all the characters. I'm not saying what he has to say is trivial. But I have always thought of cinema (that includes TV shows) primarily as a visual medium. It should show things instead of the mindless exposition. A word or two of advice, insight is alright, but outright preaching and handing out everything on a platter that robs the viewer of his/her interpretation/imagination makes Star Plus no different from Aastha channel.
Indian TV/cinema has still a long way to go before it treats Krishna as human, and shows how his actions transcended and challenged the prevailing social, cultural norms at that time that eventually lead to his apotheosis.(Of course I do realize that these are very high expectations from Indian TV. And I mean no offence to anyone's religious beliefs from what I've said above)

True 😆 😆It is amusing 😃We don't need to take it seriously, lol 😆
Tough luck because everything is taken too seriously and given utmost important around here ... lol😆But i think Krishna is being portrayed quite lavishly in the show, regardless of the semi- imaginary track. It is not for me or for you to know exactly how much quantity of Mischief and sunny personality Krishna had in him na. It was just there. Now we can all imagine it to be in different amounts according to what kind of image of Him we have in our minds. Some will think it was subtle while others will be of the opinion that is all Krishna was really made of.
