one question, I have not read the Mahabharat, I only saw BRC's Mahabharat, if I am correct, none of this Duryo and Ashwamedh Yagna stuff happened right? And what is this arrest order for Pandavas? I am going to think that didnt happen? I really dont think they should show extra drama cuz people think they are learning something, but really what are the learning is the big question!

No none of this happened its all made up stories just to drag. Interpretations are good sometimes but this kind of masala stuff is really not worth watching.

Nope! all fiction! No one was putting anyone in jail for marriage and no noe was butchering the essence of Ashwamedha yajna to emotionally blackmail their parents with suicide.😆 Daddy Dhrit definitely wasnt feeling this upset at least.

I wonder if interpretation can be the right word for what they do.. shouldn't that be fictionalisation?

Yes Interpretation is defiantly not the right word for this Mahabharat they are just making up stories which no one has ever heard. 🤪

True.. as creators, remake might not be what they wish to do but they should have declared it well in advance.. this is more like a modern reformation of Mahabharat so Mahabharat is definitely not the right title.. they are so self dignified to borrow the story from Ved Vyas and his disciples so why borrow the title and character names?

Yes when they are not ready to stick on to the story then why the same title? It doesn't make sense at all.

@vash and diala:I quite agree
Let me expalin with examples what i understand of interpretation
For example the fact that Draupadi had married 5 pandavas is a true thing that happened which can be and has been interpreted in differnet way.What this serial has done with Draupadi getting married to 5panadavas can be called interpretation since they have tried to interpret reason for the same on their own .More humane reasons other than that of previous birth.This can be called interpretation
But showing arjuna and subhadra meeting befor swayamaber(when subhadra logically is a child) ,showing a character like premvada stopping kunti from telling the truth,showing arjuna washing karan's feet or running through fire in lakshagarah or pandavs creating big hole with their power punch in lakshagarh isnt an interpretation becuase there is nothing written in the epic that even indicates towards these things.this is called adding fictional elements for drama

Exactly Sabhyata!! 👍🏼
The master of made up story is yet to be seen this week. i.e. Bheeshma getting mad about Pandavas marriage to Draupadi and Draupadi trying to explain Bheeshma.. is too much to handle!

I also agree with the Draupadi marriage part.. as that part of the epic might be kind of unacceptable for some.. this can be done where the epic is not clear or silent.. but cooking up stories, masala-fying straight forward scenarios and calling it interpretation is nothing but cheating the innocent audience..
