Mahabharat hits a Century
Siddharth Kumar Tewary's magnumopus Mahabharat on Star Plus has been running successfully.
Audiences are appreciating the new interpretation of the Mahabharat, they are applauding the way each characters personal graph has been depicted. Krishna and his philosophies are making people understand the essence of every story in this series and that really a commendable effort by Siddharth Kumar Tewary. This series has changed the way television content has been produced. The sets, costumes, casting, every aspect shows that Indian television can surely compete with cinema. The show recently completed 100 episodes and the staff of Swastik Productions threw a surprise bash and brought the producer to the venue of party on some pretext says a reliable source.

We contacted Siddharth Kumar Tewary and asked him how does he feel on Mahabharat completing hundred episodes he says, "Creating the Mahabharat is an honor for me. It's been a life changing experience and I'm blessed by my father to be able to achieve this challenge. It took me a lot of time to just understand the text, every minute I used to think of how we will tell this story to the today's viewers, whether they are open to viewing a different interpretation and many more questions. Finally we came on air after four years of hard work and it feels blessed to see that viewers have loved our work and I'm ecstatic with what we achieved so far, I believe we have interpreted the same Mahabharat story in our own way and viewers have appreciated it. Draupadi has added momentum to the current tracks and the content will be more interesting. The feedback has been superb. This series comes 24 years after the legendary first rendition of the epic and has made its own unique space in the minds of the viewers as it's a different interpretation and not a remake of the old version."
