But why did the promo show Kunti discussing Karn with someone else?? Or were two separate scenes clubbed??

The same thing was discussed then, and then the question came up - if Karna was born in Kuntidesh, and floated down a river, and if that kingdom was somewhere in modern MP, then how would he have landed up in Hastinapur, of all places?

😕 😕 I was thinking the same may be the soot couple travelled near Kunitbhoj and found the baby and brought him up to Hastinapur of may be the river flowed upword for a change 😆😕

Kunti bhoj is somewhere between Hastinapur in it's north and Avanti at it's south somewhere between but what is it called nowadays???

The only logic it makes is that The adhirat couple found the baby when they must be travelling to Kunti Bhoj.

@TM, I agree with you. No doubt, arjuna was a great warrior, the best among five pandavas. /but, other Pandavas were no less. Each one had a favourite weapon and he excelled in it. And it was Yudhisthir who always led the Pandavas. the way it is depicted here in this show is all wrong.

yes i felt the same i dont know why they made arjun stood infront of dhryondhan in the last scene whereas dhyrondhan always had a competition with bheem isnt it so y they promoted the either way do they want to protray tht mahabharat is about arjun rest are nothing

I have been watching this new Mahabharata since its first episode and I must say, the makers have done quite a decent job of it.
However there is one thing that I fail to understand. I know there are various versions of the epic and I myself have read a few but I haven't, anywhere, seen the character of Arjuna getting so much footage. Agreed he was a great warrior and in many ways, the ideal man, but what they are showing is a little too much

The makers have to understand that they are showing the story of Mahabharata and not the story of Arjuna. Every character in this epic has positive and negative shades. The so called negative characters too have some positive aspects attached to them. So, it cannot be shown as the story of bravery and heroism of just one individual out of so many. Arjuna too had his weaknesses.

What is most surprising is showing him in front of even Yudhistira, who was the eldest and in more ways ways than one, the center of unity of the pandavas. Arjuna was not and cannot be shown as the leader of the pandavas, period. 😊

Pandavas have always followed Dharma to the best of their knowledge and according to Dharma the eldest and the worthiest is the leader and Yudhishtar fits the bill in every which way...Arjuna stands out as such and doesn't need any such distortion from the epic...I wish the makers of this drama realize that the beauty of the epic is best captured when they don't try to add in their own 2 cents...

Ha ha ha... This version of Mahabharata is deviating quite a lot frm the stories v have read or heard... They showed a promos for only Arjuna's entry n not the other Pandavas...
They need not change anything at all frm the original.. As it is MB as a story is gr8.. Why dramatise it more?!

Today's episode, when the Pandavas are lined up & getting sent off by Kunti, Arjun stands b/w Yudisthir & Bhima. Looks like they'll take time to get it right.

The sequence should be YBANS or if Y has to be center, then NBYAS/SBYAN
