Why is Arjuna shown as leader of the Pandavas?

Don't get me wrong, I love the character of Arjuna ❤️ but I did not like how the new promo showed him as the leader of the Pandavas. 😕 All the other Pandavas seemed insignificant next to him, and it was weird seeing him lead the pack when both Yudhisthira & Bhima were older than him. In the epic, Yudhisthira always led the Pandavas, followed by Bhima, Arjuna, Nakul, and Sahadev in the order of their birth.

The same question strikes my mind. These CVs haven't done any research on the pandavas perhaps.

I feel that this Mahabharat is telling the story showing Arjun as Leader that is why they keep telling Arjun mahanayak and showed mostly Arjun's chldhood and Karn's not other's that significatly

I completely agreed with you...If they are showing Arjun promo separately they should show other pandavs promo separately too...

maybe bcos each time kunti faced problems it was arjun who helped her.
he was the one who defeated drupada.
he was the one who married draupadi.
he was krishna's best buddy
and most importantly his life is filled with romance and masala to increase TRP.

like with all interpretations...this too is flawed...with Arjun being central and other brothers rallying around him...I guess because Arjun apart from being a great warrior (which he was) he was also the cause of the Shri Krishna reciting the bhagvat...so maybe thats the reason he is being showcased as a central character here-

When I saw the promo today I wondered too that how come Arjun became leader of the Padavs as far as I know Yudhishthar being the eldest took all the decisions and without his permission no one used to do anything It should have been Yudhisthar who should be in the center and then Bheem and Arjun on his eiither sides and then Nakul sehdev on each side

but then Star plus is showing their own version 😕

No matter how expert an archer Arjun was but yudhishtar was more wise and more dutyful and would always be their king and leader and senior.
