But neither did the show him die on the same day

Most probably he didn't die on the same day

Yes you are right. Forcing them was wrong. But look at it this way

How would have Mahabharata happened otherwise 😆

Thanks for the update Nandini.
Bhagawan Parashuram's entry was owesome. I loved his Parashu.
Satyawati should have paid attention on Vichitravirya's health.

i hope they do clarify it in the coming episode. else for viewers who dont know the story of mahabharat, AA would seem like scrificial virgins for hastinapur's bhavishya.

thanks for update...

i must confess everyday i watch the scenes of satya... she annoys me.. she is a egiostic selfsentered mother who cant see the faults of her son...none of her sons were capable for the thrown..
what irks me more is that she forced amiba and ambalika to have a child from vedvyas...who wasnt married to them or a king..in ma opinion it is chall..
instead they could have choosen a new fresh capable strong person who would sit on a thrown..but no satya..must have her way..

It was not considered wrong according to the norms of the society then. It was an accepted practice, sanctioned - and even encouraged by- by Manusmriti and Manav Dharmashastra.

Yes. It is written in Mahabharat that it was Bhisma who suggested Satyavati to invite some learned brahmin to beget sons from Ambika and Ambalika, Satyavati liked that suggestion and decided to call Ved Vyas.
