Like it is shown in the Popular media, it was not one Sari that Dushy was pulling. It was a series of colorful saris. When Dushy pulled one, another one appeared in its place. So when Dury was tired and sat down, she had a Sari on herself and the bundle was left by Dury's side.

Varaali has posted a link to the BORI in Sanskrit. I don't think an English translation is available in the public domain. There is Bibek Debroy's English translation however, which is in the form of a series of books. Had asked before if anybody here has read them.

I think that's compiled critical edition which is known as bori! correct me if I am wrong
