Any citations of the Critical edition where it says that Karna failed at Draupadi's swayamvar?, Its funny when KMG glorifies Karna,"people" say that KMG had a soft corner for Karna.

Krishna as a deity diff from Vishnu is AFAIK only by ISKCON who like to believe that Krishna is the Supreme Personality. It is really a question of belief.

No Parabrahma is not Brahma (if, by Brahma, you mean one of the tridev's).

Parabrahma is supposed to be a state of mind where one loses all sense of duality. One achieves the state of highest Ananda. The Sat, Chit and Ananda all merge together. The person becomes one with the Supreme . The knower, the knowledge and the known become a single entity. This is the way to moksha

This is the advaitic philosophy as per Adi Shankaracharya.

As per Sri Madhvacharya, (Vaishnavite Philosophy) Parabrahma is the Supreme God on who, the whole universe depends.

Read the Chapter 8 from Bhagavat Gita : Akshara Parabharma yoga. In reply to Arjuna, Sri Krishna says

"aksaram brahma paramam svabhavo dhyatmam ucyate

bhuta-bhavodbhava-karo visargah karma-samjnitah

The Blessed Lord said:

Brahman is the Imperishable, the Transcendental and Eternal Supreme One; He is also called the Self in embodied beings; actions are result oriented and seeking' activities that create karma, and cause the existence and manifestation of beings, and which also sustains them.

There is no mention of Karna taking part in Draupadi's swayamvar in the CE. I did give its links somewhere.

Karna failing in Draupadi's swayamvar in the Southern Recession. Do you want links?

Copy / pasting from the Versions thread:

I have just now read the relevant section. It is here

(It is on page 667. Type the page number on the task bar on top to get to this page. Read the final lines of adhyaya 178)

There is no mention of Karna taking part; hence no mention of Draupadi calling him Suta, whatever.

seems the same CE claims that it was NOT Krishna who helped Draupadi but some unknown soul.. I wonder how many will agree with both together..
all have the choice to believe and disbelieve what they wish to but I dont know how right it is to market just one part of it in all possible places while being intentionally silent on the other part..

@sristhisingh

I am not knowledgeable enough to answer your question ( vrish or varaali will answer it correctly ) ,but i had the same question that who between Krishna and Vishnu is superior. If you believe in ISKCON( hare krishna hare rama) then Krishna would be the supreme being, because I often see that the Bhagwad gita by ISKCON has been altered according to their belief, All except Hare rama members believe Krishna was an avatar of Vishnu the supreme being, Since Krishna was a purna-avatar of vishnu, it was Vishnu himself in a human form, The famous phrase in Bhagwad gita " Krsna tu swayam Bhagwanam" states that Krishna was the Purna avatar of Vishnu, That is , Being Vishnu himself, This phrase is used by Hare krishna members to prove that Krishna was the source and not Vishnu ( Only ISKCON people believe it ).

Maha-Vishnu is Vishnu's original form and the most powerful form, it consists the whole universe and every god, Divine sight is needed to see that form ( Which Krishna gave to Arjuna)
