Anjana- well, maybe you should do some research about karna having a split personality disorder.
I was baffled with the way he kept contradicting the things he says just some pages or para back, so i searched.
During his confrontation with krishna, he seemed to accept his godliness.
Many times even after that.
But suddenly he would say stuff like even sixteen thousand krishna and arjuna together are no match for him.
Makes you wonder about the claims of his personality disorder.

He believed the God he believed.. He did accept that Krishna is superior or may be God also.. but he dint choose him as his God.. I dont think we can be sure about that..

funny part is Yudishtra who believed Krishna to be God and also who won the war with his help and assistance later says that if he had Karna by his side he would have defeated Krishna 😆.. Can we conclude that Yudishtar was a non-believer?

Medha - I don't know about "split personality" - he was surely one KANFUSED personality. Split btwn brothers, mothers, and fathers.😊 Not to mention ambition, friendship, and family. IMHO he was the most conflicted character of MB.

I dont think KMG was biased.. I read a different book translated to tamil by another author which matches with KMG except very few aspects.. like Arjun's exile was for 1 year and Dhridrashtra had 11 wives (Gandhari and her 10 sisters)

from what Varaali said about the age of Pandavas being clearly mentioned in southern redentions I understand that this author also follows the same..

about Karna's participation in Drau swayamvar my author says his rejection is the most trustworthy detail.. and no he does not seem to have any softcorner for Karna..

yep I do agree anjana.he was kind of stuck between his heart and brain.I think deep inside he would have loved to have pandavas as family or may b earlier he was jealous because in his pov arjuna had everything perfect and pandavas were happy despite their hardships.
in this case I really pity dury he tried to have everything but could never b happy

Karna did not have any confusion between heart and brain.. when did he feel Duryodhan was wrong? only in Starbharat 😆

He was same throughout so needed Krishna Kunti and Shalya to keep him confused

Medha.. per your logic Yudishtar is also a split personality.. both S1 & S2 of Kunti.. did they get that from her? 😆

sorry I meant to say his heart went two ways.yep he really cared abt dury and supported his claim.btw diala read ur post abt kunti surya karna indra.nice.there was one thing I noted while reading ur post it said karna and dury were friends from gurukul and arjun and karna always competed.it surprised me

Diala - even Arjuna is a tad conflicted otherwise we would not have Geeta😆 Only unconflicted Kunti Putra was Bheem.

I have not found his heart go two ways before his secret was revealed.. and after that also very barely..

They being friends from Gurukul can not be determined from those posts... if you read the HP talent display portion both of them say 'I seek thy friendship' which is irrelevant if they were childhood friends.. it also says Dury's fear for Arjun disappeared on seeing Karna's valor.. why should that disappear now if he knew Karna earlier? they were not childhood friends..
