Muskaan's cremation is going on..
All are weeping.
Shamsher cries loudly:First Muskaan..now i lost Madhu forever.I don't know whether i will have atleast Muskaan with me.Why God..?Why are you so cruel?
Somebody keeps his arm on Shamsher's shoulder.
Shamsher looks at him.
SHAMSHER:Dev?
Dev is in tears.
DEV:I came to know about Madhu very late.
SHAMSHER:Muskaan is also almost...

DEV:I know uncle.Both are my good friends.I can't bear this pain.But we have to control ourselves.Right?Human beings can only surrender to God.We all fail in God's game.
Shamsher cries.
Dev tries to comfort him.
Dev goes near Sultan who is crying like hell.
DEV:Sultan!Control yourself.
Sultan looks at Dev.
DEV:I'm Dev.I was Madhu's and Muskaan's class mate.
SULTAN:They both are...
Dev weeps:I know..
SULTAN:I lost my Madhu.I can never forgive the person who snatched her from me.
DEV:Yes,we should not leave that man to live peacefully.

Dev is in his room.He thinks about Madhu and Muskaan.
Dev says in his mind:Though Madhu and Muskaan are my friends i'm more closer to Muskaan.
Flashback...
Prom night...
Everybody looks for the pretty sisters Madhu and Muskaan.Finally Muskaan arrives.

Mus:Hi guys!

All are excited.Dev's eyes blink seeing her.
They ask:Where is Madhu?
Mus:You all know that she does'nt like parties.So she did'nt come.

Most of the guys request her to dance with them.But she ignores them.
Mus:I'm sorry...my dance partner is my best friend Dev.
Dev is very happy.All are jealous of Dev.
Dev and Muskaan dance together.
The guys look at them with jealousy.Dev and Muskaan look at them with a funny smile.
DEV:Why did you refuse to dance with them?
Mus:How can i dance with everyone?I will get tired.Right?
She giggles.
He smiles.
DEV:Why did you choose me?
Mus:Oh!I don't know what kind of guys they are.But i know you very well.I can trust you.That's why i chose you as my dance partner.
He is really happy.

Dev enters the college with a rose.
He thinks:Today is Valentine's day.I will confess my love to Muskaan.
Dev goes near Muskaan.
Mus:Dev...you are holding rose?Are you going to propose to anyone?
He blushes.
He gives it to her.
Muskaan looks at the rose.
Mus:Why are you giving it to me?
She is looking at the rose with wonder.
DEV:I...i...i...
He is nervous.
He closes his eyes:I love you Muskaan.
She is shocked:Dev!What are you saying?I thought i'm your best friend.
DEV:Yes,you are my best friend and beloved.
Mus:What rubbish!
Dev's face becomes dull.
DEV:That means..you don't love me?
Mus:I love someone else.

Dev is shocked.He feels that her words are a thunder to his ears.
His lips shivered:Who is he?

Mus:The famous business tycoon Sultan Kundra.
Dev is shocked again.
DEV:Sultan Kundra?How long have you been in love with him?
Mus:2 months back only i saw his interview on tv.Since then i have been loving him.
DEV:What are you saying?You both have not even seen each other.Then how can you love him?
Mus:I have faith in my love.So i'm sure that one day i will meet him directly.We will get married also.
DEV:Getting married?You are crazy.
Muskaan gets angry.
Mus:You are finding my love crazy?Being my best friend you are making fun of my love?You can't understand how much i love Sultan?

Dev realizes how serious Muskaan is.
He laughs.
DEV:Don't be silly Muskaan.Just chill.I was just joking.I knew that somebody has captured your heart.I wanted you to admit it.That's why i proposed to you.
She is surprised:That means this proposal was your trick?
He smiles:Ya.You thought it was real?So silly.
They both laugh.

Present:
Dev thinks:I hid my love for Muskaan.Muskaan was right.Her love for Sultan was true.That's why she could marry Sultan.Muskaan shared everything with me..she even told me her biggest secret-her wedding with Sultan..poor girl..she could not live with him for long.Who tried to kill Muskaan?Is it Rishab?He is the only person who knew her real identity in that house.But why should he kill her?If he wanted to take revenge by killing her,he could have done that much earlier.When he realized how he got cheated by her itself he could have killed her.But he did'nt do it.


Sultan is waiting at the park.Dev comes.
DEV:Why did you call me here Sultan?
SULTAN:I want to ask you something serious.
DEV:Ask.
SULTAN:You are Madhu's and Muskaan's best friend.You may be knowing their past.Did they have enemies in the college?
DEV:Enemies?Ya...They had an enemy.
Sultan is shocked.
SULTAN:They had an enemy?Who is he?
DEV:He is..
SULTAN:Tell me fast Dev.
Suddenly a man in a mask shoots Dev.
Dev screams and falls down dead.Sultan is shocked.
SULTAN:Dev!
