RK got engineering seat in Delhi , he is going to join college next week.while Madhu is studying tenth standard. He is busy in shopping all the necessary items while Madhu is helping him..

Soon the day came where RK has to leave for Delhi, RK is checking his bags whether everything is packed or not. As he felt someone presence in the room, he looked up to see who it is...

Chapter 3

"Madhu ... why are you standing at the door, come in Madhu" RK tells Madhu as he resumed to his work while Madhu stood there still with her head bend down playing with her fingers.

Sensing something is wrong RK goes to her, he lifts her chin with his fingers and made her look into his eyes, seeing tears in her eyes RK felt sad.

"What happened Madhu? why are you crying ?" RK asks her while she still remained silent without speaking a word.

"What's wrong Madhu ?" RK asks her irrritated by her silent treatment.

"I will miss you... " Madhu tells RK as tears flowing down her cheeck.

"I will miss you too ... Madhu" RK tells her.

"I will miss you Rishu... from tommorow onwards who will tease me? who will make me angry ? who will make me smile? with whom should i share all my feelings?" saying this she burst out crying hugging him.

"Madhu..." RK lost his words. He didn't know how to console her. He is happy to get an admission in one of the top Engineering colleges but he too was undergoing same pain as her. He is suffering inside while Madhu just expressed it now. He composed himself to be strong for her.

"Don't cry... Madhu I may not be present here physically, but we can still be close to each other like all these days. we can talk on phone daily, whenever u feel like seeing me just give me a call next minute i will be infornt of you."

"But..."

"No buts Madhu ... i will always be with you ... distance doesn't matter, it is just for 4 years, i will be visiting you frequently so please don't cry, remember when i told you about my interest in joining that college you are the one who encouraged me while preparing for the entrance exam. "

"hmm...ok... you have to talk to me daily at least 3 times "

"sure Madhu, my day will start with a good morning and end with a good night from you... ok"

"hmm... ok "

"so now smile Madhu ...if you don't stop crying then i will start to cry along with you" says RK raising his eyebrows...

when they were kids, one day RK and Madhu were playing carroms in which RK won the game by cheating, Madhu started to argue with him that he won the game by cheating her. When doesn't accept his fault, Madhu started to cry,he tried to pacify her but she being stubborn is not ready to keep quite so RK started crying along with her. Madhu wondered why RK is crying but she didn't acknowledge him and continued crying. After crying along with her for few minutes, RK started to cry and scream near her ear which made her crying to a halt and run around to escape his screaming near her ear.

"oh no Rishu... i don't want to be deaf..." she said horrified remembering their childhood .

Seeing her expression RK burst out laughing and soon she too joined his laughfter.

After bidding good bye to everyone RK flew to Delhi.

RK reached Delhi safely and informed the same to his parents and Madhu.RK reached his flat as he doesn't want to stay in hostel he decided to stay in his company's flat. He felt some part of him is missing, his Madhu. He tried to concentrate on unpacking his stuff, but couldn't do anything other than thinking about Madhu. He knew that he will miss her but he never realised that he would miss her more than his parents. He took his mobile and dailed her number.

"Hello... Madhu.."

"Rishuuu..."

"Am missing u alot Madhu..."

"same here Rishu... when will you come to see me?"

"Today only i came here and you are asking me about my return..."RK asks her chuckling.

"iam feeling sad here and you are making fun of me..." says Madhu in hurt tone.

"Even am also feeling bad to stay away from you ... but soon i will come to see you" says RK.

"ok... so tell me how is your flat? Are you comfortable there?"

"apart from missing you...everything is fine Madhu... "

"Hmm... "

"so next week your school will start right..."

"yeah..."

both talked for hours until both fell asleep talking to each other.

Next day RK went to his college. He completed all the admission formalities and went to his class . As entered the class,everybody is busy in talking, his eyes searched for a seat and found an empty one next to a guy in second row... so he went to that bench.

"Excuse me... is this occupied?" asked RK.

"No.. you can sit here.." says that Guy.

"Hey... am Sultan" Sultan introduced himself extending his hand..

"Hey Sulthan.. am Rishab Kundra ...you can call me RK" says RK shaking Sultan's hand..

"So.. RK, where are you from?" asked Sultan.

"Iam from Mumbai..." replied RK.

Soon they continued talking about each other, then after some time Professor came and everybody introduced themself to class after that Professor started his lecture...

"Excuse me sir... May I come in" came a voice interrupting the class and everybody turned their heads and looked at the door there stood a girl nervously looking the Professor.

"Are you new to class?" asked the Professor.

"Yes Sir" replied the girl..

"First day itself you are late to class... don't u know that you should be punctual to college?" asked the professor angrily.

"Sorry Sir...I was late because..." before the girl could complete the sentence, the professor cuts off.

"Don't give me stupid explanations... come inside .. and don't repeat it ok" said the Professor..

"Ok Sir ...thank you..." saying this the girl came inside and sat in the first bench infront of RK.

"Now... Introduce yourself to class... "said the Professor.

"Hi every one .. My name is Dipali" said Dipali.

"Ok... now at the end of the class i will ask questions... Students who won't give correct answers willnot be allowed to my next class" said the Professor strictly and all students nodded their heads in union.

As everyone listened to the class from started onwards ,all were answering correctly then came Dipali's turn, Dipali doesn't know the answer as she missed the first half of the class... she stood silent bending down her head in the verge of crying...when the professor is about to scold her... Dipali heard someone speaking from her back... she saw RK from the corner of her eyes telling her the answer... she understood that and told the same answer to the Professor. After the class, professor left the class and everyone stated blabbering about the Professor being strict..

Dipali turned to RK and smiled.

"Thank you so much..." said Dipali with a smile..

"No problem ..." said RK.

"am Dipali... what's your name? " asks Dipali.

"am RK... This is Sultan" says RK.

"hi Dipali" says Sultan.

"Hi Sultan ... Nice meeting you both... " says Dipali.

Both RK and Sultan smiles at her.

"So.. friends?" asks Dipali .

"sure... Friends..." said both RK and sultan in union...

Soon RK became close friend of Sultan and Deepali. Days passed by, daily RK & Madhu use to talk on phone ,filled the details of each other ,how they spent their day. After few months, Madhu got busy with her board exams, so they decided to talk once every night before going to sleep. Though RK was not happy, he doen't want to disturb her studies.

On the other side, RK is attending college and soon he became favourite student of all his Professors. Though he is rich, handsome and intelligent, he never showed any attitude towards others, always maintained a healthy relationship with others. He is not a reserved guy but never flirts with any girl. Because of all this qualities, every girl in the college wants to be his girl friend. Whenever a girl proposes him or tries to flirt with him, he expresses his disinterest without hurting them. He hangouts with his friends, bunks college but always maintained up to date with his studies. Even though he has so many friends, Sultan and Dipali are his best buddies.
