Great going Richa!! I like the way you are carrying the suspense that too so smoothly but I am really getting curious to know more... I want all 10 parts at once...😆

Finally, the wind has changed slightly between Madhu and Rishabh!!! I have little suspicion on Mallick. Maybe Madhu has been pressurized over something!! One more character in darkness... That picture!! Hmmm... So lots of suspense and in between a love story following!! So excited to read more...

Late update again. 😆

Don't know if this part is good or not. My exams are approaching so I m giving super late updates.

Part 6

"Hello"

"Yeah"

"Are you sure you can do this? After all he is the man you..."

"I know I can"...said Madhu cutting the person on the other line.

"Okay then, I leave it on you. But remember One single mistake..."

"You don't need to tell me anything...I..I know wht I'm supposed...to do. You just focus on your work"

Madhu looked at the photograph in her hand and spoke, "I know you weren't wrong...I know"

A lone tear escaped from her eye and fall on her lap. "I always trusted you...n have faith in you now also."

"You were not wrong...those people...those people were wrong...he was wrong!! Not you. I know that"

"I will do what I'm determined...but before that I have to know something."

She kept the frame and stood up. Closing the door, she stepped downstairs.

Next Day

Rishabh didn't ask Madhu about the photograph nor did he ask about Mallik's wereabouts. Madhu said he must have stayed at his friend's house which is situated in neighbouring village. Madhu wasn't much bothered by this. He didn't see Madhu waiting for his father.

Rishabh saw Madhu coming towards drawing room.

Rishabh was thinking something he didn't realise Madhu had come close to him.

"Madhu"

"Yes?"

"Um can you...can you show me the place where you found me?"

Madhu didn't say anything so Rishabh further said " I wanna know the place where you exactly sound me lying unconsious...I need to found something. It may had fallen there!"

"Oh okay so do you want to go now?" Madhu said.

Rishabh had not think of going suddenly but what was wrong in going then,"Yes ofcourse"

"Alright then"

Rishabh opened the door when suddenly Madhu said "Wait...I'm just coming in a sec"

She came up with two buckets in her hand.

"What's those for?"

"That is the place where I bring water from." "Here, take this", said she handing a bucket to Rishabh. "You can help me"

She moved forward and Rishabh followed.

"So thats how you found me right"

Madhu nodded. They walked a few mins and came across a lake which was sparkling like a mirror.

"Here" she moved towards a tall tree below which were thick bushes. Madhu got back to get water while Rishabh began examining the place.

He was walking around a bush when "There"

"That is where I found you"

"Hmm"

Madhu holded both the buckets in hand and was stepping towards Rishabh.

"Can we go.."..Madhu didn't realise that it was frozen lake she was stepping into. The bucket slipped from hand and she was going to drown completely in chilled water when... "Rishabh" Rishabh had come there in time holding her hand he pulled her.

"Be careful Madhu"

Madhu got the buckets and filled it again.

"C'mon now", said Rishabh moving. Madhu was not following him. His tone was like he was commanding a parade.

"What?"

"Do you want me to trip again Mr. Kundra so again you can save me and become hero or savior", said Madhu keeping the buckets down and crossing hands.

Rishabh looked at her confused then Madhu laughed slightly seeing that Rishabh also laughed. Madhu got a bucket leaving another for Rishabh to hold and moved forward.

"C'mon now" said Madhu mimicking him.

Rishabh shook his head and followed. This girl is strange. At one moment she become serious n strange and at another she behaves so so normally. You know what I mean right?

They entered the home and Madhu closed the door. Mallik hadn't returned yet.

"Hey, you found what you were looking for?"

"What?"

"That what I am asking"

"Oh yeah, yes"

"Hmm okay"

Madhu left to change her slightly wet clothes.

----

"You wanna have something? I am gonna make tea for myself"

"No...you stay here I will make tea"

Rishabh got up and after a few mins came up with two cups of tea.

Madhu took a sip while Rishabh said looking at Madhu, his cup untouched, "So who was the person you were missing yesterday, Madhu?"
