Sorry I don't but the upbringing argument. If we all accepted it then tons of criminals would go unpunished and sadly many of them do. Frankly speaking, just to show Raja as junglee they are destroying his good qualities. The slap may be accidental but the strangling was not. By showing the hero get physical with his wife, they are implicitly supporting abuse. :( For a show that started off on the right track on addressing abuse and infanticide, it is noe going in the opposite direction. Village track is no excuse to show despicable behavior.

but what I say is he has some extreme reactions..he immediately reconciled after the strangling..he could not control his anger at the moment..but he will change for his Rani..that is what CV's wanted to show..two different minds of Raja and madhu..I know they could have shown it in another way..lets see till the episode is aired
