Part-16

Madhu was still driving on the highway. It was nearly evening but she kept on driving while thinking about the truth she came to know, about her father, about losing her mother at small age. Though she was hurt by the knowing the truth, she cannot blame RK or Dadaji for hiding the it from them. The both just wanted her not to get hurt from knowing the truth. She stopped the car on sideways and started crying out loud. The bodyguards also stopped behind her car, waiting for her movement. Madhu was still crying when her phone started buzzing, it was Kuku calling her but she was not in mood to pick any calls. After few minutes, someone knocked on her window, it was her one of the bodyguards. She dried her face from flowing tears and opened the window and asked, "What is it?" The guard said, "Sorry to disturb you, Princess but it is little emergency." She nodded to continue, he said, "Alok Sir is been admitted in City Hospital as he got an severe heart attack and we need to be there asap." Madhu was shocked with the news and she was not in a state to drive, so one of the guard made her sit in backseat and drove in full speed to the hospital. Throughout the drive, Madhu felt guilty because dadaji got heart attack because of her outburst before him.

Soon, they reached the hospital and were led to I.C.U, where everyone are waiting for her. She saw Deepali sitting on one end chair. Madhu just ignored her and went near Kuku to enquire. Kuku after seeing Madhu, held her shoulders and said, "He just became hyper after you went away. He tried to stop you but you left by that time. He blamed himself for not controlling his son as he was the reason for everything. He was been calling your name while bringing from Palace to hospital." Madhu broke down in tears and said, "This is all because of me. I should not have done that questioning to him. I should have waited and talked even more calmer." Kuku said, "It was not your fault. One day or the other have to face the truth and you have the right to ask." Madhu asked, "How is his condition now?" Kuku said, "Doctors are saying there is less chance as it was 5th time of attack and that too severe." Madhu asked, "Did you inform RK about it?" Kuku said, "Yes I have informed him, he is on his was to airport and will be here by early morning." Madhu asked, "Can I see him for some time." Kuku said, "Ya, you can. He has been asking about you." Madhu slowing went into the room and saw dadaji who were plugged with some many wires. She slowly went to him and sat on the stool near his bed. Dadaji opened his eyes and then Madhu held his hand lightly, said, "I am sorry dadaji, I should not have been talked to you like that. I now understand that whatever to did, it was for my own good and you never wanted me to get hurt after knowing truth. I just hope you get well soon." She patted his hand and went out. She sat on the chair and waited for dadaji to get well soon.

Next early morning, RK reached the hospital and went straight to the I.C.U . There he saw Madhu sleeping on the chair, cuddling herself. Kuku was awake but looked wore out. He went near him and asked, "Uncle, how is dadaji." Kuku looked into RK whose eyes are showing so much pain. He said, "RK, doctors are unable to say at present as it was severe attack." RK asked, "Can I see him." Kuku nodded and RK went inside. He saw dadaji laying on bed unconciously. He went near him and touched his hand slightly, to that dadaji woke up and said, "When did you come Rishabh." RK said, "Just now. How are you?" Dadaji said, "Not well and I didnt took care of Princess well." RK said, "Dadaji we will talk about it later, you need to take rest." Dadaji said, "No, Rishabh. Madhu got to know about your father. She said that she can understand but the guilt still didnt die in me. Though I am handling so many companies but still it belongs to Madhu's father, I was just a care taker of their secrets and assets." RK looked at him for some time and said, "I will make you free from your guilt dadaji." By saying that he went away. He came out, by that time Madhu also woke up and saw RK coming from I.C.U and went near him and asked, "Is he fine now?" RK nodded in yes and said, "Madhu I need to talk to you." and took her to the balcony of that floor. He held Madhu by shoulders and asked, "Who informed you about my father to you? Who told you all this?" Madhu thought for some time but said, "Deepali told me." RK shocked and asked, "How did she know that?" Madhu explained what Deepali told her. RK fumed with this and about to speak but Kuku interrupted and said, "RK, news have been leaked about dadaji's health and rumours about the Princess's property." RK thought for some time and know what to do. He said, "Uncle you come with me." and turned to Madhu and said, "You take care, I will set everything right." With that he went away along with Kuku.

All the press people came to the conference room of the hotel, which belongs to RK's dadaji. They are waiting for RK as they are wondering for sudden press conference. After some while, RK came, went on the stage and stood before mike and said, "Thank you all for coming for the conference within short notice." Some reporter asked, "Sir, what is the reason for sudden conference. We heard that Aloknath Sir has been appointed in hospital. Is it related to this?" RK said, "That was one reason and I called you all for an announcement. so if you people be calm then I can proceed and no questions to be asked." Everyone nodded to that and RK continued, "My dadaji worked for the Maliks family and not only him from my forefathers, they are obedient to Maliks family. My forefathers were gifted with property from Maliks for their hard work and obidence for them. Even now my dadaji handles that property. After Shamsher Malik father died, it was his turn to take over the Kingdom and businesses. My dadaji supported him in every aspect but one day Shamsher Malik ran away from his Kingdom, leaving all his property to dadaji. Though my dadaji tried to convince him, he was stubborn to come back. I know from whom was Shamsher Malik running from, it was none other than my father, Mohan Kundra. My father forced Shamsher Malik to leave his Kingdom as he wanted to take over the businesses. But my dadaji came to know about my father and boycotted him from the country. Dadaji traced Shamsker Malik but when he found him, he ran away from them and while running he met with an accident." He took a pause and continued, "My dadaji is still in guilt that he cannot take care of the Maliks as it was his duty and responsibilities. He admitted in hospital for severe heart attack as for his guilt. He found Princess but still he thinks that he cannot be in guilt for what happened. So,...", he took some papers from bittuji and said, "These are the property papers which the Maliks gifted to my forefathers and dadaji. He has already handed over the properties and businesses to Princess which belong to her. Now I am transfering this property which belongs to dadaji in Princess name. My family, my forefathers, my dadaji and including me are always dutiful towards the Maliks and will always be." After some silence there was applause filled the room and RK said, "This announcement is not to clear the rumors which you people were writing but it was to clear the guilt in my dadaji's heart. I will always support Princess and always will be with her as her knight." He said again, "Thank you all once again for coming." He left from there and reporters decided to write the truth.

All this announcement was live telecast and was seen by dadaji and Madhu. Madhu was shocked with his announcement where as dadaji was happy that he was free from his guilt and he can die now. He is waiting for RK to come and talk to him.
