@bold, the audience who is watching them , each one of them will have a different mindset...vulgarity is in mind...they will ogle at fully cladded women also ! whoever is working as a heroine is somebody's daughter or wife... so that means, this profession is wrong..the beauty pageants , Bollywood, modelling , therez rampant exploitation of women, they're sold as commodities to lure men...but then, there are lot more factors..individual choice & opinion matters...freedom of expression...
Charu it is both, I also said the same thing as you saying now, rk is the producer of the film , he should have certain authority over what goes into the scene , the co actor is his wife , so he can certainly exercise some discretion over the scenes . Few days back when Phabo said to him, that she does not want any one to whistle at the bahu of the house, he said nothing of that sort will happen because she is working with him. But today , I found that he was ok with it. Why go anywhere else, spot was leeching at her. He got the ban on himself by slapping AB to talking shit about her. So this is his wife doing an intimate scene to be viewed by thousands and some of whom will pass bad comments on her ...
The scene as per mc needs to be very hot , by tv standards they at not going to show her taking off clothes , the dori opening itself suggests it , so my limit was this as I felt RK should have had some reservations about it . You limit may be different ...
Correct as you said vulgarity is the mind and how things are perceived , why go anywhere else, look the how dipali and simmy were portrayed in this serial itself , they are portrayed characterless because they have an ambition of becoming heroines.
Look at Kahani - no one will ogle at vidya balan in that movie , there is no skin show , only story which was powerful and has been appreciated .
I have made enough posts to put across my views as why sensuality is not required to make a movie it hit or for woman to become a superstar ..
This would be my last post on this topic as you only said as a reply to one of my post , that going on about ones own perspective make it loose direction , but I am really getting a sense that , if you don't like the track your views are not welcome.
