I think the main twist was supposed to be Sultan turning out to be alive all along. But it isn't really a twist anymore seen the spoilers have spoiled it 😆
Anyway I am sure this entire trial is to show Sultan in a bad light and to show RK in a good light. Which is why they are showing him surrendering to the Police instead of getting arrested.
