Yeah I get Hindu serialism and all. Nice phrase you've coined there ⭐️. The community is freaking unbelievable sometimes too though. I've watched alot of Madhu RK type relationships, and even some Padmini-psycho ones. But even in the most traditional families, I mean, when you watch your daughter end up in the emergency room, the unacceptable suddenly becomes acceptable. I don't think the cv's would be stupid enough to tie Madhu into an emotionally abusive relationship and give it the name of tradition. RK's controlling behaviour is getting worse and worse. I wouldn't be surprised if it became physical after marriage. I would just hate, I repeat hate to see this type of controlling behaviour to be portrayed as love.
Strangely enough I think Madhu will face opposition from Padmini if she wants divorce. That woman adhered to her crazy marriage for a long long time. So yes, I definitely see the conflict.
Yes, I do agree that for a daily serial set up, this seems like the perfect thing to do, even very gutsy. However I still think there is some limitation to what they are willing to do and try out. For instance, they still haven't had Madhu sleep with RK. This goes with your above point. These CVs kind of show things without actually showing them. For instance, in such a story and cycle, they would already be having a sexual relationship. But the CVs just keep it at sharing the bed. If you watch the episodes without knowing about their lack of consummation, in some episodes where it's not addressed, you would assume they are having sex. But of course, the CVs have not gone there (yet?).
Just as the CVs have kept to the basic rule of keeping the heroine's chastity (edit: wrong word usage--virginity not chastity) intact--when you already have introduced the third angle to the relationship, it is a risky choice for them to be married. Either the marriage needs to come undone very quickly, highlighting RK's jackassery. Or, the marriage needs to be shown completely and fully for what it is.
I'm not sure if this makes much sense, it's more of a quick ramble.
