The Runaway Bride

"Where is she?!" Radha cried, shouting at the group of servants who stopped what they were talking. "Where is my to-be daughter in law? She is not in her room!"
"Madam, we don't know where she is. Last time I saw her, she seemed to be in a hurry. I think...yes...I think she went outside!" A servant replied.
"What?" Radha began to breathe deeply as she struggled to contain her tears. "Nahiii!" She screamed out, holding her hands over her head. "Yeh nahi ho sakta!" She cried out. "After all this time we have gotten her back! My son... what will happen to my beta now?!"
"Ma?" Radha looked up to see RK looking at her concerned. "What happened? Why are you crying? What happened?"
She didn't know what to say. How could she even say something like this? After all this time, she has finally gotten her daughter-in-law back, her son was happy at last and now? Now she was gone. For ever and ever. Her heart could not take it any longer.
"Rishabh!" She wept. "What do I tell you?"
"Ma? Seriously, you're scaring me now. What happened? Look, the whole house is in a happy mood, there is a SHAADI happening! So why are you crying?"
Radha sniffed and took a deep breath. "She's gone, Rishabh."
RK couldn't understand what he was hearing. "She's gone? What?"
"My bahu is gone." She wept. "I knew it! I knew this would happen! That kambakht took her, I know it! Ever since he came into her life, her heart was gone. And now, she doesn't care about anyone, not even my own son! Not even... not even her own husband!"
RK gave her a look in horror. "Ma, she does not have a husband anymore. Not any more." He couldn't look at her. Who could she do this to them? To him?!
"This is all my fault. I should never have let that man into her life. Never. What does he think he is? Salman Khan? That my Bahu left my son for him?" RK shook his head.
"Nahi ma. Please don't cry. This is not your fault. This is my fault. I should never have let him into her life. I should have kept them two away! If I have the chance again, I would -"
"I am back!" Madhu smiled, stepping into the mansion. She instantly saw her loving husband and saas at the bottom of the stairs in shock. She noticed Radha crying and dropped all her shopping and ran towards her. "Mummyji! What happened? Why are you crying?!"
Radha didn't reply.
Madhu became cold. She looked up at RK. "RK? What happened? Will someone please tell me!"
"Biwi! Where were you all this time?" RK replied in a mix of anger and hurt.
"RK?" Madhu couldn't believe RK's tone. "I was only shopping, but kya hua? At least tell me!"
Radha couldn't take it anymore. Her heart felt like it was going to explode, like you know when you've eaten a bad dish. "DEEPALI LEFT US FOR THAT BITTU!"
"Kya?" Madhu said, shocked!
Radha began to cry. "What will happen to my son now? What will happen to Sikky?! His heart will break!" She cried, before clutching her head in pain.
"Maaa!!!!" RK screamed as Radha fell onto the floor. "Biwi, please! Call the doctor!"
Madhu nodded as she ran to find a phone. RK looked down at his fainting mother and cried. "This is all my fault! I should have never left Deepali and Bittu to meet! Everything is my fault. Ma, you can't leave me! Please!"
"Rishabh..." She murmured. "I...Don't blame yourself. Who knew they were going to fall in love?" She began to breathe heavily. RK cried as his mother slowly closed her eyes, burrowing her head into his chest and crying painfully. Everything they had hoped for had gone.

"Bittuuujiii!!!" Deepali shouted out as Bittu stopped, just a few centremeters before stepping onto the train.
"Deepali?!" He shouted out, a smile forming on his face. He couldn't believe it. She was here. In front of him. Stopping him before he got onto the train. Suddenly he felt like he was Kajol and she was Shahrukh.
That did it. He dropped his suitcase on the platform floor, not caring the fact that anyone could steal it and ran. Ran to his hearts content. Ran like the wind. Ran like he had never ran before. "Deeepaliii!" He shouted, as both ran into each other's arm and held each other tight. "Deepali are you seriously here? I thought I lost you forever!"
"Bittu!" Deepali sniffed. "I thought I lost you forever. If I was only a few seconds late, then you would have been on that train."
"No...I wouldn't. Just like any other Bollywood movies, I would have been here, when you turned around, and we'd hug just like we're doing now."
"Oh, Bittuji! I can't live without you!"
"I too can't live without you. I love you Deepali."
Deepali smiled. "I love you too Bittuji."
And with that, the sun began to set and the day began to go down but one thing was clear: their love will never disappear.
