I'm not asking why he became a gangster, but my question is why did the CVs bring in this new character as a a gangster?
Okay, they planned to make a love triangle, so they brought in Sultan.. but tell me is there anything in this storyline that requires this character to be a gangster? His entry was in gangster style and he got shot only because he was a gangster (and these were not some integral parts of the story) but then what? He is just behaving as a normal good human being! Agar sultan koi gangster nahi hota toh bhi kya present story mein zyada phark padta? I doubt it!
Well you could ask me what is my problem if he is a gangster, my problem is he doesnt behave like one and if gangster doesnt behave like a gangster then why call him a gangster in the first place? (this question is directed towards the CVs, plz dont misunderstand)
Only reason i could think of is that the CVs probably intented to do something hatke, so brought in a achcha wala gangster!
PS: Plz dont drag AR or VD into this discussion, this warning may sound dumb as of now but i'm not gonna take any chances...
