The show isn't very consistent with any of its characters..

RK is a hero one minute a villain the next minute, the amazing husband one minute, and the biggest deceiver the next. He's a romantic lover one minute and then does psychotic things the next. He goes from madly in love, to hatred just like that.

Madhu goes from being a traditional Indian girl with her own standards and morals, and the next day she becomes a seemingly desperate seductress and goes against her own values. One minute she loves RK, the next she hates him. She wants to teach him a lesson, and yet at the same time it seems like she also wants him back. Make up your mind Madhu.😕

Sultan is a gangster, but he has morals, I can understand that to a point. But how does a man who is so aloof from his son become so typical father-like so quickly? And now they want to make him a complete villain. What a joke. So he goes from being aloof, to a caring guy who wants to change his ways, to becoming evil?🥱

The writers really know how to make a joke of the characters.

Someone actually made a post about this. Their guess was that Sultan was modelled after the real gangster Haji Mastan. Haji Mastan was against drugs (like Sultan) and was very much into the world of bollywood. He was actually friends with many actors (even Amitabh Bachan). He ended up producing many films and married an actress.
