Great Post.

I liked your explanation, like you I used to like RK and still like VDs acting,
he is portraying Psycho very well. And then Sultans entry was not likable in the beginning but slowly I started liking him and Aryan and Madhus chemistry.

I have only one problem with RK/VD so called fans. They not only bash Sultan but they bash Radhaji when she tried to make RK understand, they bash Padmini for calling RK Rakshash and they bash Madhu just talking to Sultan. This is beyond my understanding, how come people are so blindly in love with RK that they do not like any other characters.

Totally disagree with you. Nobody understands RK and what he has gone through in his life. He loved Madhu so much because she was different from all the people who betrayed him. She thought about she brought so much changes on him. Love them so much. As his wife Madhu should understand why RK did this. I am sorry but in real life especially in our culture Indians there are wife's who return to their husbands no matter what the husband do be it torture, abuse and etc...

By teaching RK she is going to hurt him more deeply than what he has done to her

I beg to differ. I do understand RK's past be it losing his father, becoming distant from his mother and when Dipali left him for money and married his step-brother. For a moment I will agree with what you said that he loved Madhu and she did bring about many changes in him. But then why did he have to go head with his revenge plan and break her heart and her trust? Clearly the changes she bought in him weren't enough and didn't serve her well. The man she created out of him not stronger than RK's ego. What exactly should Madhu understand with regards to why RK did what he did? Maybe I am failing to see something that everyone else is but I really don't understand what there is to understand about RK's actions.
In real life, there are women who return to their abusive husbands and continue being victims, surely I hope you are not implying that this is a good thing and should be continued.

What RK did to Madhu and what Madhu is planning to do with RK has a significant difference and that is their intentions. RK has no idea of the pain he caused Madhu and he did it with the intention of revenge and to feed his bruised ego. Madhu on the other hand, is doing this with the intention of making RK realise what he put her through. Whether or not it is going to hurt him more deeply than the hurt she felt can't be anticipated because none of us can imagine the exact extent to which Madhu's character suffered.

I apologise if what I said offended anyone.

Nice, balanced post! 👍🏼
The serial is so much more fun if you go with the flow without taking sides.

I second your view heartily - RK needs to earn Madhu back, not order her back. The story is getting pretty convoluted now. Madhu is playing the revenge game and in a few week's we will forget WHAT RK is supposed to be remorseful about.

Anyway let's see where they go with this.

Your post is fantastic. All that you have said is maturely deduced and makes perfect sense.
I watch this show mainly to see the journey that MB takes through all her trials and tribulations.
R.K.'s entry bothered me from the start because of drinking and driving. And after that he did nothing that endeared him to me. But after the revenge track I have no sympathy for him . I love the actor but not the character.
Sultan on the other hand is more genteel even though he supposedly is a gangster. It is the way a man treats a woman that has importance to me and I have not yet seen any respect or love oozing out of R.K.
He is constantly asking her to prove her love for him but does nothing to show his caring or real feelings he has. All he does is rant and rave about what he wants. Obsession and ownership is not loving someone. He has not seen her pain or how she must feels after being forced to capitulate to his demands.
He keeps harping on her being his Biwi but even he had stated before that they will have a real 7 Pheres ceremony before it will become real.
After knowing all that I still do not understand why people have such a skewed view of this character.
In my POV any new entry is going to be a breath of air whether it is Sultan or anybody else.
We may or may not like any one character but hating them to the point of creating a fight on this forum or outside of it is pointless.

I personally think VD is awesome when portraying RK's possessiveness and "psychotic behaviour". I don't have a problem with VD, It's RK's behaviour in all that he has done and continues to do that bothers me. With all due respect "RK fans" have the right to hate Sultan. I just feel the reasons aren't exactly legitimate. It's more due to anger and frustration that Sultan has made a place in Madhu's life which might take Madhu further away from RK which isn't a crime given what's going on in the current track.

it is true..there is nothing tied with actor...people described here about performance...both actors are good in there own way ...@ cutelady..your post is very balanced and excellent...

In fact I could have liked him a lot, but people on this forum permanently talking about SulBala, comparing him to RK, and bashing RK (and some even bashed VD and RK's fans) obviously it lead to hatred !!

I'm really sad to say that I just can't bear Sultan !

I was a RishBala fan, but now I'm only RK fan and Madhu fan, but I would never be able to accept SulBala ! I may leave the show definitely if it happens !

Thank you for your comment and for being straightforward. I appreciate everything you have said. There are day's when the forum becomes unbearable because numerous bashing posts are created everyday. I understand people will continue to hate Sultan regardless of whether reasons are justified or not. Same goes for those who hate RK. It is wrong for members to bash the actor for playing a certain character. People need to differentiate between disliking a character and the actor. I just wish people would stop making repetitive posts on hating Sultan/Sulbala. I know its ridiculous to expect RK and Sultan fans to get along with each other or Rishabala and Sulbala fans for that matter. It's just that there have become so many that I hesitate before opening any post just to end up reading the same thing. Instead just enjoy discussing your favourite character and couple and leave the hatred out as much as possible. 😊
