You write so well. I love your post.

It is the same writer who writes for both the characters. one character is only about ego, and I, me and myself. the writers have done an amazing job showcasing that. the other one is about man of integrity and respect. They have done a marvelous job showcasing that as well.

one one hand, when the first character expects the mother to ask for forgiveness, and yet again threatens in his sweet demeanor that she better not leave him ( did you hear the ominous background music when he said that?), the other character chooses to forget the bitter words she said the last time, and asks of her well being yet again. He easily forgives, and asks for forgiveness in advance, for he shall butt in whenever he feels she is not OK.

And I think that's what he makes her promise in front of her house.

ah.. but i do not watch their scenes.. only Padmini and Sultan.. yes it is 'bout his integrity isn't is:)

👏 ... 👍🏼

Beautiful post ,... and beautiful responses !

I haven't seen the epi ... just reading this made me feel good and warm all over !

I just cant begin to say how absolutely admirable Sultan is ... as a man ... as a human being !

And Madhu is just as adorable ...

Together ... they simply leave us speechless !

In the middle of a Superstar's super hungamas ...these two are an oasis of serenity ... filling us with a hope of a better day !

LOL Nina. I somehow knew you would say that. But you must watch it. You have to see Madhu's expression to feel the nuances. It was very well done.

isn't it? such a pertinent question.. yet she must already know what real men look like, feel like, think like.. she was brought under the care of one, her father, Shamsher mallik. :)
and still , she's in awe, of him , of her father.. this is what makes for the inconspicuous, transcendental layers of love and romance..
the capability to still feel wonder and respect at what might be mundane, but good.. to never take for granted its being there or its expression, to cherish and admire every instance of goodness and compassion..
I will never be able to name what is between them. its beyond all that already , yet only just begun:)

I loved their dialogues...no hype ...no sarcasm...no drama...straightforward n simple...just impactful...

Madhubala knows she did wrong n expect something harsh...but Sultan ended up being caring which confused her but she is always there to understand n never hesitate to question...

"what can I do if your wife is dead?" to say this to a man who is still deeply in love with his dead wife and still considers himself somewhat responsible for the mishap is extremely painful. This is a pain which cannot be shared or shown to anyone and it runs deep.
yet the man was magnanimous enough to let it be. Did not hold any grudges for the pain inflicted thus by some one who is a mere acquaintance. Inspite of that he is still concerned for her safety and happiness is something that is seen to be believed.
That was the way it was supposed to be. Sultan to forgive, because he is different, and this simple gesture of "let it be" was enough to showcase this man is made of different mettle altogether.
Love him for what he said and admire him for what he left unsaid.
