After completion of exams of second year of their degree, whole class had decided to go for weekend outing, it was decided to go for forest camping. So all were set to go to the forest nearby through a bus… On the way ,singing and dancing was going on, Madhu was looking outside through out the way living in her past. Dipali was keeping a keen eye on Madhu to find out whether RK was cheating her for Madhu?
RK had not purposed any time to Dipali but was just accompanying her all the time to make Madhu jealous, but dipali was in love with him, and poor sikky he was burning in jealous on seeing dipali with RK knowing that RK can never be with her. He never left a stone unturned to be near Dipali. Trishna was enjoying the company of Abhay and both were happy with each other.
On reaching in the forest, tents were pitched, each tent was being shared by two persons. Madhu and Trishna had settled their belongings in one tent, after that the food was cooked by all of them together. Music was playing,everybody was enjoying. Dipali wanted to get RK at any cost and was all set to seduce RK that night. It was dinner time, when Madhu , Trishna and Abhay were having their dinner.
Dipali asked RK: What would you like to have?
RK: Is there any choice in this jungle?
Dipali: Ya, we have chowmeins and rice.
RK: will have chowmeins.
Madhu was listening to all this and was having the same dish. Dipali went to bring dinner for RK.
Madhu said to Trishna: Didu, Rishu can't have chowmeins.
T: I don't understand you Madhu, once you say you can't be with him but you care a lot for him, now whats the problem with chowmeins?, we are also having na and these taste good.
Madhu: No didu, there are Mushrooms in chowmeins and he is badly allergic to Mushrooms.
T: Doesn't he know himself?
Madhu: But Mushroom is not visible at first vision in it na and even one spoon will be enough for him to suffer, his skin will start itching and it will get swallowed.
T: (Laughingly): Just go and tell him na.
M: no didu, please do something.i can't see him suffering.
T said some thing in her ear and went away.
There Dipali brought plate of her and RK.
RK: Dipz dear, where are forks or we are going to be wildy while eating?
Dipz: Oh sorry, I will just bring it. and she went away…
As Dipz went away, suddenly all lights went off and it was complete dark, Madhu who was just standing on back of RK, was about to push him, so that his plate may fall down, suddenly RK heard a little noise on his backside and turned , Madhu pushed on his chest ,RK hold her and they both fell on the ground, Madhu was lying on top of RK.
RK whispered: Mady?
Madhu mumed and tried to get up but RK hold her, she was not able to get up as her one hand was pressed under RK.He got up, hold Madhu's hand and helped her to stand, she was about to move, but he pulled her towards himself and hold her waist while Madhu's hands were on his chest. After so many years, it was first time, they were so close to each other that she could feel warmth of his breath on her face, she was enjoying the moment but tried to escape, RK didn't let her move from her space. His lips were touching her hair, she closed her eyes in pleasure, wished this moment should never end, he was moving towards her face when someone shouted, I got the fuse.
Infect Trishna had removed the fuse of lights so that Madhu may strike with RK to make her plate fall on ground.
Madhu opened her eyes, she just pushed RK and ran from there. He was thinking, is it just coincidence that she stroked with me or something else?
When lights came, RK could not found Madhu anywhere, she had run to her tent and she was not able to face RK.
Dipz: RK, whats this? whole food is on ground.
RK: Oh sorry, due to light failure, I lost balance and plate fell on the ground.
He was about to pick the plate, when he saw Mushroom pieces in the food . He was shocked as well as smiling as he understood everything
Dipz: No problem, I bring another food.
RK: Hey please don't bring chowmeins for me. I don't eat Mushrooms.
After some time :
Trishna: Madhu, I want your help. Please don't say no.
Madhu: Didu, what happened?
T: Nothing dear but please I will tell you if you keep it secret from Mom and Dad?
Madhu: huh?
T: I want to spend time with Abahy, you know, please don't say no, I don't know when will we get chance any other time, please, please,please……….
Madhu: Didu?
T: Madhu, he is quite serious for me, he has promised to marry me as soon as our study is complete,…..
Madhu: Oh and you didn't tell me?
T blushed and nodded…….
Madhu : Ok, but you know I am afraid of darkness and loneliness.
T: Ok, you take your medicines, that will bring you sleep well and i promise I will be back before you wake up.
T gave her medicines, gave blanket to her, kissed on her for forehead and went to Abhay's tent.
RK was standing outside listening the conversation.
Dipz was following RK and came near her.
Dipz: so Whats your plan hero?
RK (Mumed): What?
Dipz: Oh, you are not a kid dear, I want to know, why do you avoid me always?
RK: Dipz please,
he was about to move,Dipz held her hand.
RK: Leave my hand, I have urgent work, I have to go……
Dipz: what is more important for you than me at this time? Can't you see all are busy in their tents with their partners…….
RK pushed her and went away, when Sikky came…
sikky(smirking): dipz dear, he can never be yours.
Dipz: what do you mean?
sikky: you will get to know with time, ya if you allow I am always ready for you…
Dipz pushed him away and went to her tent fuming… RK will be just mine and no one else can touch him ever…
After some time, when all have went to their respective places, RK came into Madhu's tent, who was sleeping quietly.
RK (caressing her hair) : Mady, please accept my love, I promise I will never let you feel down, you are my first and last love. I know you care for me, you love me, then why don't you accept it?
If you remember about the day that I could not care for you when you fell down during our tracking camp, we were kids at that time. At that time I didn't know how important you are in my life but now I know I can't live without you…. Nothing matters for me except you… I can leave everything for you…
" It was their 7 days tracking camp in summer vacations of primary school. Madhu was very excited to go there as it ws her first adventurous trip in life. When they reach at the spot, they had to walk a lot through the peaks and trails of velly. four days had passed, Madhu was not habitual of small difficulties, she fell down on the ground. Teachers came there, she was taken to the camp place, doctor had checked her ad declared that she is she was too week to move ahead in the camp. so it was decided to call her parents and send her back to the home. The camp was at a distance of five hours from Delhi. As soon as Balraj and Padmini came to know about the situation, the left to bring Madhu back to home. Firstly Rishu thought that he should take care of Madhu and just one hour had passed, when he saw his friends playing outside, he became restless. At that time Games were most important for him. Madhu asked for water to rishu. He was fuming already, through jug and said I am not your servant to feed you all the time. Madhu was weeping badly. Finally her parents came and she went back. Even after returning form camp, Rishu and Madhu were not talking to each other for two months. after that Rishu had to regret and Madhu forgave him.
He was caressing her hair with love, was about to kiss her forehead but something stroked in his …… and went outside…
A tear rolled on Madhu's cheek.. who was not slept till now but was thinking about her closeness with Rishu today… She woke up and said, no Rishu it can't happen, I know you can leave everything for me just to take care of me, that is what I don't want, I want to see you a successful businessman,a successful designer but not a man just taking care and handling the problems of her lady all the time. I always need someone even to complete my daily needs and I know very well if I accept you, your first priority shall be just me….. Rishu I don't wish so… please forgive me…….
but both didn't knew, someone outside camp was there who was listening the whole conversation…
