Part-11

It was the day of engagement of Madhu and Trishna, all the guests had arrived… Radha and Mohan had not the courage to attend the function, but they had to come as Mr. Malik had helped them a lot while RK was in hospital….

And RK…….. he came because he wanted to show Madhu, if it doesn't matter for you. not for me too………

First Trishna and Abhay's engagement ceremony started ,both exchanged the rings… and all congratulated them, then it was turn of Madhu and Rehan….. Rehan was twenty five years old good looking man having own business but was now completely in loss…. so ring ceremony of Rehan and Madhu started, RK was standing behind a pillar with tears in his eyes..as he could not see Madhu being with someone else….. Trishna was weeping in front of Abhay…. Can't any miracle happen that my glycerin be happy in her life…was her happiness of just one day after so many years… when she was with RK………. there same was going in the mind of Maliks and Kundras……

as the ring ceremony started , Padmini gave ring to Madhu with fake smile… Madhu put the ring in Rehan's hand…. Padmini put forward Madhu's left hand to make Rehan put ring in her ring finger…

As Rehan Held Madhu's hand, Padmini left her hand.., Rehan put on the ring in Madhu's ring finger and left her hand carelessly. Madhu's left hand being lifless flew downward into the air and she cried in pain..Trishna hold her hand and she gave an anger look to Rehan….. RK came running and she and Trishna made her sit on the sofa. RK sat near her on knees...all were standing worried around madhu.

RK: T, I am with mady, you bring her medicine….

T ran away , braught the medicine…. RK gave medicine and water to Madhu….. Rehan also came ..

Hey, sorry Madhu. I didn't remind…. I am so sorry… he said…

You must remember every minute about her……Said T in anger… while Madhu nodded her… its ok Rahan…. no problem,…. let's enjoy the party… she stood up and went with Rehan….

As the party was going on and all were presenting gifts to them, Radha and Mohan also came with RK and blessed Madhu half heartedly… Madhu introduced them to Rehan…. and RK as her childhood friend….

Rehan was drinking with his friends… he had four pegs while Madhu said him not to drink, as she didn't like that…. when he didn't stop, Madhu went away…

RK was standing with Sikky and was having cold drink….

Rehan was under intoxication, came to him…. You are not drinking….

RK: Oh, I don't like drinking….

Rehan: you don't like or your best friend doesn't allow?... just joking… by the way you are the one na who fought with goons for Madhu and were o bed for two months….. I must appreciate your friendship….

RK: its not so, it was my duty as she was with me on that day….

Rehan: I really loved your concern for her today too…..

sikky was about to say but RK stopped her…. Ya, she is my friend , that's why I care for her….

Rehan called his friends… hey come here… all came to him….

Meet my would be's best friend… Mr. Rishab Kundra……Who knows her from childhood… fought for him with the goons…. took care of her every time….. but why are you looking so sad? are you not happy its your friend's marriage…… all laughed…. Madhu was seeing the complete act and was fuming….. Sikky raised his hand to shut him up but RK stopped and said…Rehan, you are drunk, control yourself… let's go sikky….

He turned to go, Rehan said… so the lover boy oh sorry the friend boy is going….. I never understand why lovers are always looser………….they all laughed…..Rahda was in tears…..RK called Radha and Mohan and they all moved to go back…

As they turned, RK heard the voice of one, two, three……. four hard slaps………..

he looked back….. It was Madhu… and Rehan's face was red……..

How dare you to insult Rishu? who the hell you are to raise finger on our relation…. who gave you the right…. how could you forget the terms of agreement made between us?

Rehan was in anger…. he raised hand to hit Madhu but RK held his hand in between…….Don't you dare to touch Madhu or you will not only be out of Party but from out of this world……………..

Rehan was fuming, when Madhu took some agreement papers from her purse, tore them and threw on Rehan'f face alongwith the ring he had put on her hand….. get out of here and don't forget your debt….

Mehta's were cursing their son for spoiling the game and went away…..

suddenly the atmosphere of party changed to sadness…

Shamsher announced, I am sorry to everybody, the party is over…..

people were about to leave the venue…., when Radha suddenly announced, no party is not over ladies and gentleman….

She went to Madhu….. Madhu , you had said na that you are not good for Rishu… I will be the first mother in the world who will say I don't need good but the worst girl for my son….. then will you marry him?

Madhu was shocked.. while RK asked… what are you saying Mamma…..

Radha told him the complete conversation, Madhu had with her parents for not getting married to RK…

But what was the agreement thing? asked Mohan Kundra…

Infect for Madhu's safety, I had made an agreement with Rehan that he will marry Madhu but just for outer world, she will be staying with us only and only till Rishab get married….. after that they will be divorced……. in exchange, his all debts will be cleared………told Shamsher………..

he was in tears…. So, you think, you one hand disability is hurdle in my path…. he held her hand …and for that you were destroying your whole life……

Madhu, beta now please don't think again….. your future is in front of you…… it was your papa's wish too…… said Mohan Kundra

Madhu looked towards Shamsher and Padmini…. all were looking with a positive response from madhu…

She wiped her tears and a smile appeared on her lips…

Radha removed her ring and gave it to RK, rishu… its time beta make her yours….

RK was about to put ring in Madhu's hand… No, Madhu said… all were again shocked… now what?

He has not proposed me…. how can I marry him…. all started laughing…. RK pulled her hand towards him, made her wear ring… I will never but you can't run away from me……….

All clapped and this time happiness was completely visible on their face……Trishna hugged Madhu happily…..

While all were enjoying the party… RK held Madhu's hand and both ran away from the party to madhu's room………….

so you didn't tell me why? rk said..

You know…what I am asking… he pulled her towards him…. why is my snap in your every book?

Madhu shyly looked the ground….because… I …

I am listening, he pulled her closer…..

because I love you and she hugged him as tight as she could…. he wrapped his arms around her… I love you too Mady and it was only you always…..

he held her face in both hands… brought her closer….. was about to kiss her lips but pulled himself back…. Madhu looked into his eyes…..

You can break the promise made nine years back… not to think so about me…. and placed a soft kiss on his lips shyly…. He stared down at her. Their eyes were locked. He felt like he was seeing the very depths of her soul. He knew in that moment that she felt the same way. he traced the shape of her lips with his fingers and Slowly he lowered his head and placed his lips upon hers..which was broken by a knock at the door… it was T at the door… who was teasing them to come back as all the guests had left already….

Next day, Kundra's had to return to Delhi, Madhu & T had went for shopping with RK and Abhay, while all the elders were at home discussing about their marriage… it was decided that both Madhu and T will get married on the same day….. when Shamsher got a call….

I have got a good news… said Shamsher…

Oh, whats that…asked Padmini….

We got appointment for Madhu from the doctor of America…. it is on next Tuesday…. she will have to go on Sunday .. treatment will continue for six to eight months whe will have to stay there….

All were happy on listening.. Padmini said… I can't send her alone… who will accompany her there…

Definitely I will go… if dad has no objection… RK said looking towards Mohan Kundra…..as they entered...

But without marriage, how can you……… Padmini said…..

Then whats the problem, we get them married within this week…. Mohan replied….

All of sudden Marriage, how will it be possible? shamsher said..

Mohan: That's not a problem.. all the arrangements will be made… if you say yes once….

Madhu: but it was decided that I and didu will get married together….

T: Oh that's not a problem sweety, you go and come back .. then you will make the arrangements of my marriage….

RK looked towards Madhu and asked silently: are you ready..

Madhu smiled in return shared by both….

Pandit ji was called and he told Saturday's Mahurat was best for marriage….

Mohan: Mr. Malik, I have a request, if you agree…..

Shamsher: Please tell if there is any …

I know you love Madhu a lot and she is your daughter… but I will be very happy if Madhu get married from my best friend Balral's home…. please don't mind…. because it was his wish too, he also wished that Madhu and Rishu should get married….. I don't force you only if you agree….. said Mohan hesitatingly….

shamsher was thoughtful about this… finally he said….. ok, if it was his wish too , I don't have any problem… Madhu had tears in her eyes, she hugged Shamsher and said…. Papa I love you……. I love you a lot….

Shamsher: I love you too beta…….

RK whispered to Madhu: Welcome back to Delhi….
