And today RK demonstrates why his and Madhu's love story is indeed a unique one. He hurts her, on purpose, not because he hates her (which is the standard response when a husband does something like this in other seriels), but because he hates that fact that she places rituals above her own wellbeing. More importantly, in his eyes, she places these rituals above him. To RK, he told Madhu that the KC vrat was nothing she should do because it was not something he believed in. She did it anyway. He does not know, like we do, that she was willing to forgo the fast if he had asked her to stay that morning.So for him, the whole fasting tradition was something Madhu placed above her husband's wishes. His care for her was such that he came for her anyway, overcoming his ego. And yet, when she persists in what he sees as foolishness, his anger, which has his roots in his concern, comes roaring out.

I dont mean to offend anyone here but I can relate to RK's point of view. I mean he is mostly saying these things because A. he is afraid of Madhu's love and B. he has seen these rituals be proven wrong in front of him. But he did have a point to me. I have never been the one to believe in fasting because I believe abusing your body which is a gift from God cant get you closer to God. God would never want people hurting themselves. So when RK said "You have to earn respect and not ask for it" I was like OMG bingo. But to each its own again I dont mean to offend anyone. Im not sure if he really feels the same way as I do but is just saying because he has seen these rituals proven false in front of his eyes. He doesnt believe in relationships anymore and is not really ready for one so fast no matter what he feels for Madhu. His concern for her to be there ok infront of his eyes is okay. Or maybe he doesnt know yet that Madhu is doing this out of love for him and not just fallowing the books like Dipali and Radhaji. [/QUOTE]

That concern, which is tinged with fear (he keeps reiterating the fact that she was sick, that she still looks unhealty, that she had food poisoning etc), is what made him so harsh today. And unknowingly, the hurt he inflicted was far worse that anything she had endured up till that point. The emotional pain he left Madhu in far eclipsed the pain that came from the food poisoning, because this pain will linger.

On the other hand, Madhu needed this check. Her husband is not like others. I don't blame the poor girl- she's in love for the first time, and the love of her life is a box full of crazy. How do you handle someone like that when you're so infatuated with them? I have full confidence that she'll learn quickly, but better she knows that its a path full of thorns from the beginning, rather than in the middle. I also liked that he was so sarcastic in her imagination- she has his core personality down, she just needs to fully open her eyes to how he is all the time. Just because he's softer towards her, does not mean that he is soft, and he can revert to his self-defense mechanisms at the touch of a button. Luckily, when it comes to him, she has the patience of a saint, and a fairly large masochistic steak. So she'll stick around, and it'll be a long, hard, bumpy ride.

I loved that she talked back to Diputz without sinking to her level- the smirk on her face the entire time- she was a class above Diputz. And yes! No going back to Bhabhi. Huzzah!

Also, last note in this mess of rambling: She threating her imagination with a poisoned apple if it insults RK? How very Chaudrahin of you Madhu. I'm sure somewhere Biodad is feeling proud.

Thud...earth calling ! What an episode, I had thought of a lovely song to dedicate to my favourite couple and all my plans went crashing to the floor, alongwith Madhu's lovingly prepared lunch.

Dipali ki KC kahani
Though she tried talking her way through, with her usual style, she was caught!! Everybody saw through her, even surprise surprise, 'Mummyji'...who told her off quite strongly. In fact, Dipali was at the receiving end from Madhu as well, who has completely converted to calling her Dipali 👏...'aapko to khush hona chahiye ki aapke devar ka ghar bas raha hai'.

Sikky and Kukkuji
Drunk in the middle of the day!! They wake up to find two men taking down notes on their movements. RK has asked for bodyguards for all of them to track their movements, after what happened to madhu on KC. I feel bad that an actor like Raza murad is used as a filler character, in a filler episode.

Madhubala
In her dream world, still fantasising away. RK's KC act has now given her courage to want to confess her love to him. Chalo, at least one of the tracks mentioned in the articles came true, she attempts to write a love letter for RK, writes it, makes lunch for him and takes it to him. All dolled up I must add, expecting RK to drool over her. The whole letter writing scene was actually a dream sequence, or tiny dream conversations with RK. Tto be honest, I had started getting a bit uneasy on realising they were dream sequences. After yesterday's lovey dovey Rishbala moments, any more dreaming seemed to me like an ominous omen that a reality check was due.

RK
I know I know...all of us were shocked on seeing his nasty reaction to her lunch.Suddenly he was so violently vehement about his total disregard for the KC festival (it was not that sudden, he was uncomfortable during the rituals part of KC, the night before). He did mention the reason why he does'nt believe in the festival, becasue it did not save his father. His anger towards Madhu however was because she disregarded her health and went to cook for him. Secondly, she ate that polluted sargi, demeaned herself by picking it up from the dustbin. All for a ritualistic act that held no meaning for him.
I read his reaction as concern for her more than anything else. And anger that she keeps disregarding his point of view.

Negative points about the episode:

• Another filler ? For what reason? They have enough tracks coming up, we have not even touched Diwali yet😡
• Dipali's antics are boring now. I switch off when I see her on screen.
• RK's day to day reactions are now getting schizoid...granted he is a superstar, moodiness is his birthright. It is all most as if they want to satisfy those who like to see him mean and nasty. He can still be all that and more , don't the CVs know how to handle the dichotomy in his character?
  

Positive points:

• Madhu taking the lead, I like it that she is ready to direct the path of their relationship. Again, it shows her persevering faith in her love and faith in RK's basic goodness. She understands his anger, but cannot help getting hurt herself. 'Roothi hoon phir bhi raazi' echoes each time.
• On a lighter note, i have been noticing RK's irritation at being interupted when he is with Madhu. Yesterday with bittuji in the morning, then with his domestic help, just before tying the dori, and today he glared at bittuji to leave. May at some point, he will decide to lock his bedroom door. His room is like a railway station, seriously😲

If the CV'S chance upon this thread, while they stalk the forum, which I am 100% sure they do, I suggest they have at least 2-3 episodes to get him to lock his door, 2-3 episodes to remove pillows, chalte chalte we will reach Dec 19th when TRP's begin.

Precap - Madhu ...this is called self destructive, might as well lock that letter away, Maa bhajan that too main aapse naaraaz nahi thivale dialogue???😡
