Even if I try to relax around Madhu in the manner you want us, it still doesn't go down logically. Impalatable.
By your way of Madhu who sees good in people and does things as situation demands along with her ego in place...
1) Fine. She is thinking of guests and fine she is ordered by Dips to change the saree. I give her a point there as Madhu showed in her face that she was a tad reluctant to accept the saree. Only that the TIME-SENSITIVE MATTER made her remove her hesitation and accept her Bhabhi's word.
So what was weighing on her mind ...Oh! I ruined my Saasu ma's saree and now guests are coming ...what I am supposed to do. So sort of apprehensive mind ...upset at the mishap/Dips ordering + need to show up downstairs.
2) Then she changes. Her husband happens to see and instantaneous angry reaction. Madhu dear is INTELLIGENT enough to notice that. And SHREWD enough to jump at the opportunity to know why the saree affects hubby so much. There is a tad jealous reaction from her side. Madhu is not that innocent about her feelings for her hubby and what Dips was to him.
So what weighed on her mind ...Oh! why does it affect him so much ? Can't he ignore ? I need to go downstairs ...so sort of cranky mind ...upset in jealous feeling + need to show up downstairs.
3) Then she becomes adamant and argues. We are shown Madhu is actually sitting opposite RK and arguing. This is where the direction went wrong. The continuity from the above is lost. But then she becomes the screw-loose that she always is and especially when RK stands before her. She just needs to answer him back without weighing to what he is saying or what she is saying. Its sheer destiny and her fortune that somehow RK ends up having issues where she gets cankerous that he gets touched by her, and she makes a mark on his soul. If only that history with the saree was not there, RK would have handled her in a much more easier manner. But that's where my heart goes for him. The moment he stops giving reason, its already known to us that something deeply is affecting him and he hides it. And we know a time will come when he has to spit. Now its the story's requirement that Madhu has to be apparently idiotic for creating the rage, bad consequences and to get the secret out of the closet.
But seriously, is this the way the CVs will show a character growth in Madhu ...like zilch ??
In contrast, we have RK's growth when he says...Biwi mujhe lagaa tum mujhe jaanne lagi ho.
That just hurts. Did the CVs really mean it that way...for us to heart RK ? I don't know. But that contrast between RK and Madhu, clearly allows me to rant at her for her lack of depth.
For what is the fun if the characters cannot grow in each other's influence.
4) She then loses focus of her hurt...just argues and wants to go downstairs.
5) But in all of this...if she is jealous about his regard for Dips, then what about her regard for him ? And what about his regard for her too. He honored her with an answer. Right ? I don't like you in this saree. I don't like the color. So change. Its not that he is not capable of eyeing her. Won't you then as a person of better judgement save the curiosity in knowing the true answer for another day? You mean something to your husband and yet something about him bothers you...you can always talk later. So how does your ego get affected ? And how come he appears to you as showing Nakhre ? Which man would like his wife draped in a saree given by a woman he scorns. Doesn't he provide enough for his wife to have her own stuff ...they are so many intricacies here that Madhu fails to understand. If in Mukund's accident all she sought from RK was an apology to the victim's family, then how come that sense of courteous regard fails her. She just became obtuse selfish character who just wants her way of things with RK. Then my dear why did you allow Dips to cloud your judgement in the first place.
I am starting to think that RK has a certain electro-magnetic field around him that charges Madhu and she gets zapped of her original character. And that is another woe, as two days of romance don't make any sense with this explanation. 😕
6) On Monday, if they do not continue the conflict and do not resolve in a proper manner of denouement of the argument, all of the explanation that we are giving for Madhu's actions will be lost. And it will just come out as trash-bin episode.
hence I ranted today. Monday...I will see if Madhu can be attributed with any of the perception that I had for her when watching today's episode.
