PART 5: Mission of breaking the fast.

RK and Bittu entered the mansion.

Radha came, and asked them to come for lunch.

RK sat at the dining table, where the rest of the Bhatia family 'Kuku,Sikki and Deepali are present.

Radha is arranging the dishes on the table and a servant is serving them the food.

RK looked around as if he is looking for someone.

Deepali noticed this.

RK asked about Madhu and Radha replied that she is in the room.

RK said,"Munna,call Madhu for lunch" and murmured ,"These Bhatias are making feasts as if this food is made of their income and left the original owner of the house who has the real right to enjoy as if she has to wait for their mercy."

His words are heard by all.

Kuku and Sikki took his words as they are not for them and continued eating.Radha felt hurt.

Deepali said,"She is on fast today",in a low voice.

RK, quickly stood up and kept some more food in the plate which is meant for him and went from there towards his room.

Kuku and Sikki are busy in filling their respective bellies.Radha stared at RK,with mixed feelings of happiness(because of his concern for Madhu) and surprise(because of the same concern for Madhu).

Need not to say about Deepali.

In RK's room,

RK entered the room with the plate.

Madhu ,who sat on the bed ,looked at RK.

He came near bed and kept the plate before Madhu.

She looked at the plate and then at RK with a questioning face.

RK told her ,"Eat,Biwi"

She told,"RK, I'm on fast.I will not..."

He interrupted her and told,"Biwi,I'm not asking you whether you eat or not.I'm saying you to eat."

She tried to get up saying ,"RK,I told..."

RK put his hand on her shoulder and pushed her so that she sat again on bed but with RK's force.

He sat on the bed beside her and said,"Biwi,You know that I can do any thing-anything including feeding you"

She looked at him and tried to say something.

But she could not.

Because RK took the food and tried to keep in her mouth.

She resisted to open her mouth.

RK forcefully opened her mouth with his other hand and kept the food in her mouth.

She could not do anything.

She tried to spit the food.

He told,"Biwi,don't spit it.I'll keep some more food again.It would be better if you eat on your own."

She immediately got up from the bed and tried to go.

He held her hand.She released his grip and went near the window.

RK ,who is looking at her noticed from her gestures that she is crying.

He stood from the bed and went near her and said in a soft voice as if he is explaining,

"Madhu,you are not well from morning.It is good to perform the custom ,but only if the your health permits.Your God,as far as my knowledge has not told to you kill yourself with these type of foolish things -I mean fasting even when you are unhealthy,right?These rituals are kept by people.Don't think too much about this.Come now,eat,otherwise your health will deteriorate."

He pulled her hand saying,"Come"

She forcefully took back her hand and said angrily, "What makes the difference for you if I'm healthy or even if I'm dead.You always want me to suffer like this.If you want me to cry, I would have cried in front of you ,if you have told me to do so instead of this.Who told you to interfere in my custom ?It would be better if you kill me at once rather than torturing me like this"

She said so, because she could not bear breaking a custom which she has been performing since years.And moreover she is really hungry which made her cry in front of RK,which she thought not to do even in dream.

These harsh words have showed their effect on RK's what -according -to -him- is -non existing,his HEART.

He felt like something is pricking his heart deep somewhere.He now thought with his heart.

His heart's thought of caring about Madhu dominated his mind's decision of not to take care about her.

He thought to cheer up his Biwi and make her complete her lunch.

He said to her,"Ha,Biwi,today I came to know,..."

She looked at him,questioningly.

He continued,"Why ,the most daring and dashing Madhubala is called as Glycerin by her sister"

She is still looking at him.

"You are great Biwi,We,the actors generally need Glycerin to generate tears.But you don't.I did not slap you or pinch you or did anything with you that will make tears to fill your eyes.But still you are crying.Better you become an actress and save lots of Glycerin for the film industry."

She turned away her face and folded her hands.

He walked a little forward and faced her.

He stared at her for sometime till she saw him confusingly,with the expression of 'Now what?'

He said,"By the way Biwi,Now the question came to my mind,Why didn't you try for a Heroine chance?"

She shouted ,"What"

"I would have given you a heroine chance beside me if you would have approached me instead of your sister.And moreover,you are more beautiful than her.She doesn't even suit for the item number too,which I had offered.Biwi,is there no mirror in your house?"and he started laughing.

Madhu got fully annoyed and said,"RK,you are exceeding your limits.Why are you talking about my sister?Why are you bringing her name in between our fights?Now shut up?"

He did not stop laughing and said"How funny she looked on the day of audition!Oh My Goodness,I could not control my laughter for two days."

Madhu shouted,"RK,shut up" she moved a step forward and said,"Moreover,you did not give her the item number also.Why are you commenting her?"

RK said ,laughing loudly,"Biwi,I thought of giving her that.But-what you know-the choreographer ,who was about to choreograph that song got hospitalized after seeing your sister's make up and the song got cancelled.What is my mistake?"

This time ,Madhu got very annoyed and she pointed her index finger to RK,and said moving one by one step forward towards RK,"RK,if you say even a word more about my sister,I will not spare you.Do you understand?"

When Madhu is taking a step forward,RK is moving a step backward.

By now,he is pinned to wall.Madhu,still pointing the finger at him.

RK stopped laughing,came back to his normal serious tone and said,"Biwi,I did not know that you have this habit.If I had known about this before marriage,I would not had married you."

Madhu took her finger back and looked at him with a questioning face.

He said as if he is pleading her(in a mocking way),"Biwi ,Please leave me.I have a lot of life ahead.I did not know that you have this habit.So ,I talked like that about your sister.Please forgive me"

Madhu asked,"What are you talking about?"

"Your habit."

"My habit?What habit?"

"To ravish men"

"WHAT?",she exclaimed.

"Yes,Biwi,once check your self.",he said normally.

She looked down.

Yes,their both ventral torsos are in contact with one another(of course,covered with clothes) and RK is pinned to the wall.

Madhu,on noticing this,took a few steps back wards and is looking down.

RK noticed that she got embarrased.

To change her mood,he said,"I know ,Biwi,that you got this habit from your sister."

She looked at him and took a flower-vase from the table at the side of her and threw it on RK's feet.

"OUCH" He sat down on the couch near by and is massaging his right foot.

She is about to leave and RK held her hand and stopped her and said(though there is pain in his right foot),"Biwi,you need not worry.I don't ravish girls"

She is about to open her mouth, then RK interrupted her and said,"OK, Biwi,you are more interested in challenges,right?So,lets make a challenge."

"What?"

"You have to complete your food along with me in this room ,other wise you have to agree that your sister is unfit for being a heroine.Is it okay?"

She did not speak any thing.She went straight to the bed,where the food is present and sat there and started eating.

RK,smiled.His smile showed his feeling of 'I know what works on you'

"Munna,bring my lunch here"

Saying so,he sat on the couch staring at Madhu,who is busy to prove that her sister will be an able heroine.
