Thank you. Can you make it a regular work to write Monday's episode and give it to us on a Sunday, as Saturday we are still analysing Friday's episode but Sunday we are twiddling our thumbs waiting for Monday, so if we have a short story from you, with what you think will happen on Monday so nicely laid out like an episode we wont be bored but stay happy...😳

This is very well written, FQ!!!

I loved Bittuji's trouble in the beginning, and the part where he thinks about tact and Radhaji's much needed recollection of it is simply priceless!! You were very true to both Madhu's and RK's characters, which is what I look for in a fic, so yay! I loved the way she thinks of him as a demon with an angel's face (I agree, btw. I see RK and am reminded of 'How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!') I wish you'd have put in a bit about what RK felt while he cared for Madhu, but perhaps it is too early for that... That last quip about La Perle was so RK, I swear I could see him saying that!

You know how romantic tropes only work when the hero's internal conversations, his fallibility, is not made apparent. It is the easiest way to write romance.

Because once you get into his head, you are entering the slippery ground of, gasp, literature.

There are many more complex ideas on this that I haven't articulated yet, and which require more than a stupid tablet to type out, so more on that later. perhaps as a meta chai party topic.

And also this situation only works dramatically, BECAUSE we don't really know what happened in the night. Or that was sort of the point, which if I didn't get across, more fail me!

I know this seems romcom territory, but at another level, how absolutely horrifying to wake up with no memory of a night with a man you know to have no decency whatsoever. I'm thinking Veronica mars's lost night level of horror.

Just read this again, and you're right, not knowing what RK 's thinking or what he's done actually adds to the fic. So I take that bit back. I just have this insane need to see the moment when RK becomes Rishabh for a second, which was why I said that 😊

It definitely isn't romcom territory, acc to me. I've never found anything remotely funny about the idea of not knowing what happened the previous night. This situation is perfect for twisted relationships of the RishBala variety. So yes, I loved it and I definitely want to read more of your work! 😃
