I have always believed that RK is drawn to Madhu because she is the one person that didn't bow down to the star he was but saw him for the person he was. Even if she gave RK the person negative attention he enjoyed it because it has been hinted that he been neglected in the past. The jail scene hinted that he didn't have a good family life. But this attachment towards her also infuriates him because he does not want have any emotional attachment to someone he hates and someone who hates him. The first girl that didn't drool over him with this marriage he can maintain this connection he feels for her and remain attached while taking out his hatred at the same time. So, I would like to see how RK treats his new show piece ( Trophy in ur words). Moreover, MB's retaliation is yet to be seen and that's the turning point of the show.
