i think marriage may be a little extreme as people tend to rebel more you tell them to do something 😆

i think paddo should have explained and maybe shown trish different paths and maybe not have let roma have alot of influence on her as she has done...

3 years is along time to give someone a chance to pass in their first year my god so paddo is right here but i feel her methods may be wrong

Well when someone I knew personally started to do bad in school their parents made him get a job and start paying for their education on their own, as well as rent, and expenses. Their grade improved a lot due to this and they became more responsible. Maybe Paddy should have considered this before when Trishna failed. I think just yelling at her than letting it go didnt get her anywhere. Maybe Trishna isnt as naturally smart as Madhu. Or she could have taken Trishna away from the influence of Roma long ago. Is she punishing Trishna for her own mistakes? It is funny how Madhu and Trishna both grew up under the same house but ended up being to completely different ppl. I do understand Paddy's worries for her daughter but is her decision right or fair?

paddy is think as a mother...just
think trish is not little girl she is almost around 23-25 n is
marriage age as per 20yr leap of show (only if CVs dont change
her age suddenly) also she gave her fair chance for consequtive 3yrs...
when she is not studying or not even stepped any further in life
n living her dreams as a mother she is worrying n want to settle her down...so she is right in her pov...

faking report...sooo much influenced by roma who herself is a best example of "the result of flying high from reality"...

all this made a mother insecure n forced her to take such decision

though once the fire will b out of the situation everything will b back o normal..trish n her antics

Marriage is not the right chocie at this stage.
Padmini should give Trishna a chance in her acting career and earn an income through that and be independent.
But from what I have seen Trishna is not a very stable girl. She is too much influenced by Roma she does not see the reality of life, when in the form of Roma it is there infront of her.
I think she will be worse than Roma when she fails her acting career. She might even blame Padmini for taking her from her big haveli.
Padmini was just trying her best to give a good life to Trishna, but getting her married without her consent is not a good decision she made.
As one of the member said I too feel Padmini has become very bossy in the house, even with Roma and Malik.
Maybe with all the hardship she faced she has become like that and from what I ahve seen today how she treats Trishna, she will treat Madhu the same way when the time comes, she will force Madhu to join the film industry.

Well its the mindset most of the Indians that if a girl fails in academic then she is made to get married & if boy fails then they would help him to set up any business or persuade him to complete his studies(it may take many years),in Trish case Paddy gave enough chance for her to complete her studies & if Trish had completed her studies then she would allowed her to persuade her career in movies so that if she fails in the field also at least she has a backup to get a other job on her qualification,at present Paddy sees no future for Trish ( as she doesn't want her to struggle like Roma)

But i feel marriage is not only the last solution,Paddy should sit with Trish & have a talk on it & check whats she wants to do & she should give a chance to persuade her career in movies & if she fails then she can ask to get married...

Though i feel marriage is not on the cards yet for Trish, may be Paddy would give her a chance to persuade her career in movies.

Roma is to be frank a failed actress and alcoholic(maybe not sure yet.) She thought if she atleast had a degree than her future would be more secure, she could work part time or atleast have a career if she wasnt successful as an actress. But I am not sure if getting her married was the right alternative maybe she should have told her to start working and become independent. What does everyone here think?

Good topic.

In Padmini's eyes, this rishta is a good chance for Trishna to get her life in order w/out having to worry about studies or a job. As for the stardom dream, if Trishna had been trying so hard for so long and still didn't get her big hit, it's unlikely that she's going to get one very soon. And in Trishna's case, time is a big deal because most new actresses get their hits in their early 20's. Funny enough, time is also crucial for Trishna's marriage. It seems like Padmini realizes that.

I think Padmini had a realistic point, but I didn't like how she went about it. She should've talked to Trishna before making that phone call. Otherwise it looks like she's forcing her views on Trishna.
