Was Paddy right or wrong in her decision today? I think she might think that becoming a star is a very difficult dream to achieve. She doesn't want to see her daughter Trishna become another Roma. Roma is to be frank a failed actress and alcoholic(maybe not sure yet.) She thought if she atleast had a degree than her future would be more secure, she could work part time or atleast have a career if she wasnt successful as an actress. But I am not sure if getting her married was the right alternative maybe she should have told her to start working and become independent. What does everyone here think?

Well said dear, maybe Padmini should have done that, but she has given Trishna enough chances to pass her exams and she's probably scared that her daughter is not going to have a future and she wants to give her a good future. She isn't against her becoming an actress, but like u said she wants her daughter to have a future and with Roma around get 24/7 its seems unlikely and yes Roma is a failure in her career and she can't spoil her daughters future as well. Mother always wants the best for their daughters and thats what Paddy is doing but maybe marriage is too much, but what can she do? She has tried to educate her but Trishna seems to be too interested in acting than any other thing, not even her family and she loosing everything else for acting. So Maybe Paddy is thinking if she get her married she will make a future for her and get responsible as well, as of now trishna isn't responsible at all, even her younger sister MAdhu is responsible. But Marriage, is it the right alternative? I don't know...Lol, after saying all this I still don't know😆.x.

i found padmini little too loud! i mean she wd have grown confident living n earning on her own. though she never protested against her husband n MIL, when her child was threatened she ran away to save her child. she also cared for her step daughter to take her. but i found her little too dominant. usually mothers in a settled household are like that. but this lady starts her life with the help of strangers. her equation with Roma seemed to have changed. She is more bossy with her than d earlier version. was it a deliberate attempt to show d chnging chr of padmini? from a scared housewife to confident n assertive mom!

Getting anyone married off without their desire or forcing your will onto someone is just not done...and parents come in this category too if their child is an adult who can think for his or her own self. So Paddy was not justified in her actions.

no idea about marriage but 3 years given time was more than enough for Trishna which she didnt seem to have used well...her sister has passed out before her now..😆...padmini taking a strong front was obvious..

Just to add to the discussion for those of you saying that marriage was not the right option plz explain what would you prefer that Paddy had done? what would you do in paddy's shoes? or trishna's?

I think the worry that Padmini has for Trishna and her future is justifed. After all she is a mother and she has seen what Roma has gone through. As someone already pointed out, Roma is a failed actress and seems to have issues with the bottle! So naturally Paddy will be concerned for Trishna.

Having said that, everyone is different and we all come with our own destiny. Trishna might not go down Roma's route and clearly she has dreams which she wants to fulfill. And settling down when your heart is not in it leads to disaster only.

Both are right in their own way. But I understand where Paddy is coming from :)

i feel sad for trish but paddy has done ryt...3 years are enough for one's mistake but even then if she is not able to rectify her mistake then nothing can be done...

i am with paddy for two things...

1. cause dat's ryt for trish olso and her future will also be safe...

2. if she gets married then R.K is with madhu...no doubt... no 1 will come between them... nor madhu will think twice coz of her sister...
