Madhubala and Shamsher are standing outside the film set. Madhubala is now 5 years old, she is looking adorable dressed in a soft pink colored dress with two pony tails, and is holding Shamsher's hand tightly. Her small fingers entangled in his. They had to pick up Padmini and Rohma and were patiently waiting for them to come outside. Or at least one of them was patient. Madhubala getting bored by the long wait looked around the location. People were running from one place to another, dressed in costumes of different colors and designs, even Madhubala wanted to go inside but the guard outside the gate was constantly throwing her strict glares. But suddenly Shamsher got a call and he left her hand to attend the call, he went a bit away and Madhubala was now free to execute her plan. She saw that the guard was busy talking to an artist and she quietly sneaker passed him and entered the big film set.
She was fascinated by the hugeness of it all, the lights, cameras and the people. She stepped in and went to one of the shooting taking place. There was a soft white carpet placed in the middle of the room, with white curtains and pieces of cotton flying. It looked so dreamy; Madhubala was lost for a second. How soft would it be to lie on the carpet with the flying cotton? She closed her eyes and imagined… it was when the director said "CUT" that she came out of her dream world.
Yeh kya ho raha hain. Hum 2 ghanton say shot lene ki koshish kar rahi hain, par yeh bacchi say toh ho he nahi raha. The director said frustrated
The woman with the child turned and it was none other than Padmini dressed in a white saree. Madhubala upon seeing her mother ran into her arms.
Arrey, Madhu beta aap yahan kaise. Padmini said smilingly before she could say something else the director shouted again.
I cannot work with this child, le jaye issey. The director told his assistant and the child artist that was about Madhubala's age was taken away by her mother.
Sir, aap hum shot kaise pura karenge? Woh bacchi toh chali gaiy hain? The assistand asked his director.
Ho jayega, waise bhi uss k saath thori na ho raha tha.The director answered angrily.
In all the shouting Madhubala had left her mother and had gone to the soft carpet… and lied down… laughing at the softness of it. The assistant had watched Madhubala and whispered something into the director's ear and he stopped shouting and turned to look at the laughing figure of Madhubala. He looked at her for a second before he shouted again.
Yeh bacchi kis ki hain? The director looked around the sets. Padmini saw Madhubala lying on the carpet and rushed to her side and carried her.
Sorry sir, yeh meri beti hain.. Madhubala. Padmini answered scared by the directors voice.
Hmm... yehi hai woh, said the director determined.
Jee? Padmini was confused, what her director was talking about.
Humein yehi bacchi chahiye add k liye. The director said satisfied.
Par sir.. Madhubala? Padmini asked still unsure.
Yes, she's perfect, answered the director.
And everyone rushed to get the shot ready; Madhubala got scared with all the attention and all the attention on her. She was teary eyed and tears started making their way out of her eyes. She was scared; she had never been in such a situation before. Padmini sounded worried as Madhubala started crying, but the director didn't bother and continued with the shot. Madhubala cried even more, but as soon as the director said "action" and the lights came on she stopped crying. And as the camera rolled and the spot boy turned on the fan and the cotton flew on her, she started smiling and when the cotton landed on her she started laughing. The shot went on smoothly. When the shot got over the director came by Madhubala and kissed her forehead and praised Madhubala for her fabulous shot. He told Padmini that she was a born actress, and would one day become a remarkable actress leaving everyone behind.
The door creaked open and the spot boy came to tell me that the shot was ready. I came out of my thoughts; going back on time won't help. She was just 5 years old when she did her first add. 15 year earlier she wanted to be a part of that glamorous world, and now 15 years later she despise that place but she's forced to be a part of it. Apni kismat say main bhaag nahi sakti, yeh meri duniya hain… jahan bhi jao, wapis yahan he aaon ghi… issiliye aiteraaf kar liya hain apni taqdeer say.

I wanted to see something similar in the show, and this thought came to me and I couldn't hold it so started writing it down. Its basically about Madhubala and how she doesn't want to be part of the industry but is forced to.
