Stuff I've been thinking about the last week (fuzzy recall of last 7-8 episodes):
1) I thought the jewel thief writer case started off brilliantly but then fell apart at some point. The scenes or writing didn't flow maybe, idk what, but I totally lost track of who was trying to do what and why and how. Haseena sneaking into writer's house, then disappearing from thana, writer agreeing to meet her, what was happening?
2) Fandom went gaga over Kareena moment in the hospital while I found it total nonsense. Haseena, THE HM, broke into a house and planned to trap a potentially dangeous or potentially innocent guy on the basis of a guess?? Doesn't bother even hinting anyone, releases a fake video on doing suicide, stupidly walks into his den alone, and then, has the audacity to say 'KS I knew you'll come save me'. That's some next level recklessness and immaturity, if she died no one would believe it was a murder or that she was innocent - reputation, life, all at stake. But her "trust on KS" was my breaking point. It's like she always wants KS to put her own life on the line to save her, "I'll stand as the perfect target in front of any goon, but you shall protect me" Bodyguard hai kya?
KS didn't sound or look impressed, even with the hug, and that was a totally apt reaction. Loved it when she said 'you keep putting your life at risk without thinking what others go through'. HM has really stopped caring about MPT's feelings ever since urmila. In fact, this whole reckless stunt felt like something urmila would do, or yesteryear KS would do (though my Karu has never burdened others with the responsibility of saving her life ā¤ļø)
3) A shaadi case, once again, holy hell writers, who is getting married or divorced amongst you, what's this obsession. Executed well though!
At one point the mother in law did a weird smile with a sitara type bg music. Obviously I thought she's faking the whole case and kept waiting for it to be revealed, 'abh hoga, abh hoga', nope, mera popat ho gaya š
HM's advice at the end of the case was...totally unnecessary. Why act like a marriage counsellor. Actually I didn't even understand how she took up the case without making sure the husband was cheating, KS pointed that out even. The HM I knew was all about 'innocent till proven guilty'
4) The stunts case had a good message for youth but made no sense on what the issue was or how it got solved - thieves whose main purpose is to taint KS' image by making her stunt skills viral, uh what? Why did KS have to leave them the 2nd time, they would've been caught as thieves on camera. Why get the whole city to record videos for 2 normal thief, Billu could've found them. Rest, Bodhianveshika already voiced my frustration about KS being blamed, so not regurgitating that. Military and police do stunts publicly in Republic Day parade, now call that irresponsible too will you?
5) Haseena helping Karishma out of her guilt was sweet! Talking about reputation was hilarious though, I thought right back to all the nonsense she did as Urmila, some antics of which she continues till today.
7) Cheetosh was cute too. An fp on insta made a reel on how Santu acted like both Karishma and Haseena at diff points in the episode - getting furious at Cheetah then coming up with a plan to solve the case. Maasumiyat is gonna overtake both ladies very soon, she's growing exponentially and with perfect balance of both ideologies. She, nor I, approved of the singhada remark by HM.
I could totally see KS, SS and PS explode in front of MaddamSir someday soon, she's been getting on their nerves one by one.
Ps. What's with the jackets? Lol everyone trying to copy my Karu? Woh swag phir bhi nahi aayega
Pps. Feels so good to predict accurately for once, finally š. Amar Vidrohi is exactly as I imagined, but the fact that he exactly reiterated what I said about him yesterday - guy wants to prove that men are as capable as women in women-centric things
