PART NINE
after half an hour of talking and advising from the parents part, both angad and kripa agreed to get engaged. they were ready to do anythng for their families happiness and all of them were very very elated to hear that they were ready for the marriage. angad had a little liking towards kripa and so did kripa. shabd and mahi were in heaven with happiness.
shabd: mujhe lagta hai ke, in dono ke sagai barso hi kar deni chahiye. warna phir se raay badlenge.
naina laughed: shabd!!! barso??? kal kyoun nahi?
shabd: kal...naaa!!! shopping toh karni hai annd i have to call my friends and the press. aakhir angad the rockstar ka sagaai hai.
mahi: bilkul bilkul...pehli baar muje shabd ke kehne se sehmathi hui hai,,,
angad: haan haan sab log taali bajao
mahi: angad!!!! muje pata hai ke shaadi ke baad sab mard kadoos hothe hai. par yaha sagai bhi nahi hui hai...
everyone started laughing. angad turned red in embarassment.
angad: teri toh...
and he started chasing mahi...both of them left the room and dint come back for a long time. by the time they came back, it was planned.
tomorrow suryaban and gayatri wil do the necessary shopping and the others wil do their shopping. naina wil arrange the house decorations and other things and dilip wil give a press conference.everyone went to bed after the long discussion. both angad and kripa had a sleepless night.
kripa's thoughts...
ye kya ho raha hai mere saath??? sagaai itni jaldi??? woh bhi angad ke saath??? i dont knw... kya me ye chahthi hoon??? kya me ye nahi chahthi hoon??? kya me usse sachchi me pyaar karti hoon??? pata nahi... muje kuch samaj me nahi aa rahi... kya isse me khush reh paaungi??? muje nahi pata... muje itna pata hai ki sab log mere wajah se khush hai aur unki khushi hi meri khushi hain.
Angad's thoughts...
aakhir ye kya hua??? kripa??? kya woh hi meri life partner hai??? is this wat God has destined for me??? itna sab hua hai...muje use apnana hoga...
both smiled to see a little love spring in both of them. they turned over and slept.
next morning, everyone went for shopping. angad, shabd, kripa and mahi together went to the mall. in a few hours, angad and shabd had their shopping done. angad took a black suit with slightly translucent
material black shirt, new black shoes. he left out the tie due to shabd's request. shabd meanwhile got himself deep blue trousers and deep red shirt. they went around to find the girls and saw that mahi and kripa were confused in tAking kripa's dress. they first did mahi's shopping{kripa did the shopping for mahi coz she was confused as always}. mahi had bought a light yellow and blue lehenga...
it was kripa's dress that took most time.
mahi: dekho na angad... meri dress toh jaldi se select kar li... khud ke shopping nahi kar paa rahi...
angad: woh toh me dekh hi raha hoon
mahi: dekhte hi rahoge ya kuch madat bhi karoge??
shabd: me madat karu???
mahi: plz no!!! angad ko karne do
shabd: whatever!
angad smiled and went over and took out a light pink lehenga with Full silver works. mahi and shabd looked at the dress with so much awe that their mouth was open.
mahi: wow!!! its soo beautiful
shabd: waah bhai waah...tera taste toh kamaal ka hai...
angad gave the dress to kripa who looked at it and smiled and then at angad. both had a moment in heaven looking at each other. they did the ornament shopping pretty faster and headed home by almost 9pm.till then the house had been ceremoniously decorated for the grand function. flowers and candles and curtains were all done. the function was next day evening.everything went on well....angad and kripa were getting happier for their engagement. soon the time arrived.
the engagement...
the guests had startd arriving. shabd was all ready. he and dilip went to the entrance to recieve the guests. after sometime suryaban came and took over shabd's position. shabd went around checking if everybody was comfortable and giving out drinks. he found his friends in a corner and went to chat with them. after sometime one of his friends looked towards the stairs and said "hey guys...woh dekho!!!"
everybody looked in the direction he was pointing and heaved a breath. shabd was almost lost in his world. it was mahi coming down in her beautiful yellow and blue lehenga... she was looking absolutely stunning for words.
his friends startd badgering him that shabd had to come out of his trance.
"hey shabd...kaun hai woh??"
"shabd bata na...who is she???"
"man!!! so damn sexy....where did she come from???"
to all this shabd just smiled... and said..."meri ladki hai...she is my girl." after saying that he left his friends and went over to mahi.
shabd: mahi!!! looking absolutely stunning
mahi: thanx shabd!! tum bhi bure nahi ho
shabd: oh thank you miss...now we wil go do our work.
they both went to do their own works and after sometime, angad got down to an applause. he looked handsomest in the room in his black n black combination. in a few minutes kripa was bought down by mahi. her entry made "oooohs" and "aaahs" throughout the room.
angad just kept on looking at her till she had reached him. she was gorgeous than ever in her pink lehenga.
they exchanged rings and had taken photos. it was starting to get pretty boring when somebody said "arre angad ke sagaai hai...koi gaana waana nahi hoga kya???"
naina came upto angad and kripa and said, "tum dono ek gana gao."
kripa: mummy jee...gana...abhi???
angad just shusshhed her. he pointed at the middle of the room were shabd was standing.
shabd: attention everyone.!!! aaj mere bhai ke sagaai par me ek gaana gaana chahtha hoon. {applause}
he started off with "mahi ve " of kal ho na ho...kripa started singing with shabd in between and danced around with him.

angad just kept on looking at kripa who was swaying and dancing to the song with the others. he was lost in her. he wanted her. now he knew....that he loved her. he smiled and joined the dance.
next day however it was news in all the papers that angad got engaged. now only one question stood. WHEN IS THE MARRIAGE??? it was all over that kripa, angad's fiancee was his new lead singer for the upcoming concerts. the story given was that they were childhood sweethearts and long since been in love. seeing all these news angad only had a smile. he dint care wat was true. all he knew was that he loved kripa now.
he went to see kripa. he found that she was in her room. he entered the room without making much sound. he saw her stand with her back at him talking over the phone.
" nahi muje kuch nahi sun ni... tum meri sagaai pe nahi aa sakte?? muje ye sab excuses dena band karo...... ohhh....ohhh...toh ye baat hai meri jaan...chalo theek hai,..maaf kiya!!!", then she started laughing over the phone. she then turned over to see angad. she was prettu shocked to see him in her room like that. she hung the phone.
angad: kaun tha???
kripa: tum muje question karne aaye ho/??
angad: mera haq banta hai.. i am ur fiancee
kripa: bas fiancee hi toh hai... prem tha
angad: oh prem!!! haan...i shud hav guesd. aur haan me tumhara mangetar hoon.
kripa: mangetar hona itni badi baat nahi hai. jaante ho sagaai kabhi hi thod sakthi hai.
angad: kripa ye tumne kaisi baat ki???
and he left the room all angry. he felt sure now something was up between kripa and prem. she wanted to break their engagement. for THAT PREM. how she had been laughing silly with him... he banged his room door and hit his hand on the table
